Chapter 19

Matt' Point Of View 

Blood is what supplies our body of natural oxygen, It helps us fight off bacteria and is the glue that guides all of our organs together. Although one thing I didn't know what blood did was taste nice to the human tongue. The blood seeped into my mouth and with the contact came with the watering sensation in my mouth. The taste gave me thrill. The more I drank the more I wanted it. But the look that spread upon Genova's face made me feel like I wasn't suppose to..

' Matt the blood taste good to you ? ' Genova asked looking at me with a face full of concern. Deep down I wanted to lie, Genova has never been the one to be serious so amongst talking about anything so this subject made my body fill with fright. 

' This is bad this is so bad Matt '  Genova said pacing around in her room. ' What's wrong ? ' I asked. ' Here's the thing Matt vampire bad shouldn't  taste good to you that's not normal ' Genova explained. We looked at each other now full attention sharing concerned looks. Genova was quick to whip out her phone and start dialling a number. 

' Hey Jess I'll explain later can you text the gang to get here now ? '  Genova said into the phone. ' I can't do it myself Im kind of freaking out over here, I could barely dial your number with my shaking hands ' she followed before hanging up placing her phone back into her pocket. Next thing I knew a gush of wind came resulting in the whole gang being In front of Genova and I. '  What's the emergency ? are you hurt ? ' Cameron questioned walking straight towards Genova pulling her into his embrace. 

Id be a lie if I said I wasn't jealous. ' Did he do something to you ? '  Cameron questioned turning his cold gaze to me. ' He did nothing Cameron its okay ' Genova cooed holding Cameron in place as she rubbed Cameron's up and down trying to sooth him. ' Okay what's the problem ? ' Mahogany asked as she held her hands up closing her eyes.  ' Its Matt he tasted vampire blood and.. he's appealed to it ' Genova explained. 

Genova's Point Of View 

Once everyone was in front of me they all questioned what was happening. Mahogany stood there with her hands  and eyes closed probably sensing the atmosphere which she did. As soon as I told everyone the reasoning for my calling Jessica's face shot my way and went pale in colour. ' What's the matter? ' I asked tending to her side but as soon as she did she jumped back regaining her posture. 

' Nothing ' Jessica said looking down. I was about to re-ask what was wrong when Cameron interrupted me. ' So Im guessing since Matt didn't totally freak out about us coming through the window and the fact that he likes blood I'm guessing he knows about us ? ' Cameron asked turning to me to which I nodded. ' Well now that Matt knows we are vampires we have no choice we have to kill him ' Cameron said striding up to Matt whilst he cracked his knuckles.

' Hey get away from Matt ' I said sticking out my arm in front of Cameron ' we are not gonna kill him, he promised her wouldn't tell anyone ' I explained. ' Genova, I'm not gonna hold the faith of our hidden existence with this mortal we have to kill him ' Cameron argued. ' No, we shall not kill him thats barbaric I promise he wont tell and if he does you can kill me '  I muttered holding Cameron. ' Well I can't do that ' he said.

' Well I guess you can't kill Matt ' I stated. ' So what do we do now ? ' Shawn asked. ' The other reason why I called everyone to be here was because Matt wanted to know information about being a vampire so we can we explain it to him in the lounge room ? ' I announced. ' You called me here for him ' Cameron scoffed. But I quickly elbowed him in the rib before grabbing his hand and heading down the stairs followed by everyone else. 

Once we got downstairs Shawn and Taylor glanced up at each other for a quick moment before both speeding for this sofa chair that was probably more comfortable than my bed. We all stood there watching as the two fully grown men fought over a chair that they would be sitting on for a few minutes. ' It's mine ass wipe move ' Taylor groaned shoving Shawn.

' No it's mine ass clown you move ' Shawn groaned. I glanced up at Cameron who already had a look of disinterest on his face, we watched the two fight for a few more minutes up until Cameron pushed them both to the side with one quick movement taking the chair for himself . ' Seriously dude why'd you take the chair, I would of won Shawn was starting to shake '  Taylor whined to Cameron childishly pointing his finger at Shawn.

 Shawn just rolled his eyes and grabbed Taylor's arm twisting it behind his back which resulted in Taylor screaming in pain and agony. ' Shawn let let the man child go ' I cooed.  Shawn just gave me a cheeky smile then let go of Taylor placing himself down on the sofa. ' So what do you wanna know ? ' I asked Matt. ' Okay uh if your vampire's do you stay looking young like they do in the movies ? ' Matt asked. 

' Kinda, when you turn you just grow as you do then when you reach a certain age you would like you can choose to stop growing ' Mahogany explained slowly making sure Matt got the concept. ' Can you compel people ? ' Matt asked. ' Yes we can ' Shawn smirked. ' If you can why haven't you compelled me Genova ? If your friends are so scared I'm going to tell someone why haven't compelled me to forget everything ? ' Matt stated. 

' I just don't want to ' I said trailing off not wanting to get into his ora and stuff. ' Uh how do you become a vampire ? ' Matt asked. ' Well there's two ways of becoming a vampire your either one born into it from your parents or two you have to be fed  vampire blood, once that's in your system you must die and then you come back in all it's vampire glory '  Cameron explained looking at his nails not even seeming interested in the conversation. 

Matt asked us every question he wanted and for some reason he was so interested in learning about becoming a Vampire we almost every time came back to the subject. All questions aside we all ended up watching a movie '  Hey want some popcorn '  I asked Matt tapping his shoulder to catch his attention. ' Yeah sure ' Matt said getting up with me. As we made our way to the kitchen Cameron shoved Matt with his shoulder as he came back from the bathroom. 

' Cameron stop it ' I thought. Cameron just scoffed sitting back down.  I turned around shooting Cameron the dirtiest look then I followed Matt into the kitchen. ' Are you okay ? ' I said walking up to Matt. ' Yeah Im okay ' he muttered staring down at me. From there all you could hear were the noises echoing from the lounge room that held all my friends but as for Matt and I, we were surrounded by silence. His eyes found my face studying every inch of my face while my eyes kept its gaze on Matt's pair of brown orbs. They were just so warm, so alive..

makes me craze the feeling of living again. The way my heart thumped, the way my veins pumped and the way my lungs breathed in and out. Although I felt the last feeling as Matt slowly leaned towards me connecting our lips. My eyes remained open just watching as his brown orbs disappeared behind his lids. It was as if a magnetic force was pushing my eyes close as well, as I slowly obliged and melted right into the kiss. I don't know how long Matt and I remained locking lips but after a while a throat clearing pulled both of us apart. 

' Come on guys movie's about to start ' Mahogany muttered.
