Chapter 47

Genova's Point Of View 

Inevitable is defined as a situation that is unavoidable. Many try to change the outcome of what may happen but in the end there is no point, its inevitable. This was the reasoning as to why I was not fighting back. I tried to, but I was simply too weak to do so. 

No matter how hard I fought I knew there was no point. Madison was going to plunge that wooden stake into my heart, and I was gonna die. I laid there awaiting for what was going to happen. I didn't even care about my own state I just wanted Matt safe. 

Hypothetically If I were to be spared by Madison the wounds by Jason would end p killing me anyway. I felt the pain of my chest from where Jason had stabbed me. I was loosing a lot of blood. I felt it in my veins. As I awaited Madison's plunge into my heart no impact to my heart ever came. 

All I felt and heard was a thud and a gush of wind erupt from the very room I was in. Then a sound that sounded like something was being pierced through. My heart slowed down with every minute that passed and I knew I was close to seeping into to the other side. ' G-Genova can you hear me ? ' a person asked holding my hand. 

I weakly opened my eyes seeing Cameron resting beside me tears filled in his eyes . ' P-please stay strong for me Genova please, I need you to stay with me ' he cried clutching my cold weak hand in his. I tore my gaze from Cameron to my side, seeing everyone around me. ' Genova ? ' someone whispered I moved my head to see Lucy sitting there next to me opposite of Cameron.

  ' P-please don't leave us. I just came back ' she cried. The longer I laid there looking at everyone taking in their faces the more my eyes drooped down. Then when my eyes were about to close a foreign object stood out from behind everyone. ' M-Matt ? ' I whispered bringing up my shaking hand pointing to his body.

  ' W-what ? ' Cameron asked squeezing my hand. I took in every bit of strength I still had in my body. He couldn't die, one of us had to live. As much as I had come to find out, I loved Matt. I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him on the other side. 

But he still had a lot of things coming for him. He has to experience everything it's like to be a vampire. So I slowly lifted up my arm biting my lip in pain with every inch higher my arm went ' M-Matt ' I whispered pointing to him. 

Lucy's Point Of View

Genova lifted her hand up shakily pointing into the far corner of the room. We all turned our heads to see Matt's body surrounded with his blood. I quickly sped towards him leaning by his body. His chest rose and dropped really slowly.

 His body was weak and he was loosing a lot of blood. I rested my hand on his chest which made his heart beat echo in my head. ' H-he's dying too ' I whispered. As my eyes trailed down to his wound something shiny caught my eye that was held inside Matt's cold white hand. 

' H-Help G-Genova ' a weak voice croaked. I looked up to see Matt's weak eyes half open. ' I-it's a cure It w-will help her ' Matt whispered pushing the capsule into my hand. ' S-save her ' he finished and just like that Matt's hand slowly loosened around my hand as he placed the capsule in it. 

His heart beat started slowing down in my head, bit by bit the beats started to come less frequent, so slow until I could no longer hear it. He was dead .I wiped my eyes realising that tears were flooding down my face. ' The Salvatore cure ' a voice said in the door way. I turned my head to see Jack and Jack standing there with confused looks on their faces. 

' H-how did you guys get that ? ' Gilinsky asked speeding towards me. ' I-I don't know Matt had it in his hand ' I said sniffling. ' What is it ? ' Carter asked. ' It's the Salvatore cure, the Salvatore's were the first ever vampire's that ever lived in this universe, and because they wanted to live forever they created this cure. 

It could heal anything no matter how bad the problem was. It didn't even matter if it was black magic or normal magic whatever is casted over a supernatural being could be healed with just a swallow of this cure ' Johnson explained. ' E-Even if they're dead ? ' Cameron stuttered still clutching Genova's hand. 

' Even if they're dead ' Gilinsky repeated. ' Then give it to me ! ' Cameron yelled ' Genova has to drink it she has to live ' Cameron cried .  ' B-But ' I started. ' B-but what ?! Lucy ? Genova is dying she needs to be cured she can't die I can't lose her ' Cameron yelped crying harder. 

Cameron's exact words brought hurt into my body, so I tore my eyes from him not baring to see him at the moment. I found my eyes going to Genova, to see that her eyes still peaking open, she looked at me with pleading eyes shaking her head no and then pointed to Matt. 

' Please save him Lucy he needs to live ' Genova's voice echoing in my head. ' B-but your dying Genova you can't die you can't leave me here. I-I need my older sister here ' I whimpered. ' I know Lucy but Matt needs it more than I do '

Give it to me Lucy.

I-I can't

; and with that I took the cure and shoved it down Matt's throat
