Chapter 32

Shawn's Point Of View 

Darkness faded into light when my eyes fluttered open. I found myself waking up on the cold floor up against a wall that my body seemed to be leaning on. My head pounded causing me to groan in pain. I glanced around the lounge room to see that like me all the guys and Mahogany scattered all on the floor almost lifeless.

 I felt a cold wind engulf my body. But by the time my head had whipped to the side all I was able to make out was the door held wide open with Jessica's table along with her candles and spell book across the room in a giant heap. My eyes widened discovering the mess that laid in front of me. I pulled myself up and with all the strength I had I screamed.

  ' Jessica ' I yelled. No response , no movement, no sound. But that was until I heard someone groan. It was Matt and Taylor. ' Guys ?! ' I gasped speeding to them. ' Look at this place, do you know what happened '  I asked. '  I- I don't know '  Mahogany's voice echoed from the other side of the room. ' Did he asked you ? ' Taylor sassed earning a kick in the gut by Carter.

' This is not the time to joke Taylor I think something bad might of happened ' I spat. ' Well it looks like someone fell asleep on the wrong side of the floor ' he finished to which I punched him. ' Ha karma's a bitch ' Mahogany laughed getting up. ' What happened here ? ' Nash asked ' I-I don't know, no ones explaining ' I stuttered. ' I don't even remember anything ' I asked ' me neither ' everyone said in a unison. 

' Where's Jessica ? ' Nash asked. '  I don't know ' I spat '  she's not here ' I gulped starting to get worried. ' When was the last time we saw her ? ' Cameron asked gaining consciousness.  ' She was trying to track Genova ' I answered. I continued to stand there clueless as to why we all seemed to forget a particular moment of time. And as if my worries couldn't have rattled me any harder I started to hear Jessica's screams in my head.

  ' I can hear Jessica ' I said grasping everyone's attention. ' Where is she ? ' Cameron sternly asked. ' I-I don't know I can't see I can't ask she's too weak to hear or respond to me ' I answered. '  What do you mean she's weak, where the fuck is she '  Cameron screamed. ' There's vervain ' Mahogany shakingly muttered as she watched Jessica with her eyes remained shut. 

' I feel-l that their surrounded-d with p-pain and darkness ' Mahogany whispered. ' They are in a dark dark place '  Mahogany gasped before opened her eyes again most definitely losing the gateway vision she had of Jessica . ' That's all I can see ' she finished with worry dripping from her words. ' Something's blocking me from seeing them ' Mahogany whispered. 

' Them ? ' Cameron questioned. ' Is Genova with her, Is she okay ? ' Cameron asked bombarding Mahogany with questions. ' Yes she is but I can't see her figure as clear as Jessica's ' she answered. The whole room was filled with tension and worry at this point. ' We have to find the girls now ' Matt screamed. 

' Shawn is there anything you can hear that Jessica is hearing ? '  Cameron asked getting out a note and pencil to write it all down. ' Shawn being a carrier isn't accurate enough we have to go into his thoughts ' Taylor proposed. I was confused as to what Taylor wanted us to do before remembering what he was able to do. 

Taylor walked out of the room everyone trailing behind him to the kitchen counter top. He then took a knife out of the drawer and stabbed his hand no mercy. ' Well damn ' Carter muttered making Nash smack him. 

' What ? It's better this way, gives the moment more flare ' Taylor explained. Cameron stared off at Taylor shrugging his shoulders before bringing his focus back to Taylor. Taylor squeezed his hand making his blood drip into a cup faster. When it was filled up to the requirement needed for the spell he instructed us to all drink it. 

Of course Carter couldn't just go with the moment without some sort of comment which resulted in Nash smacking him again. We all drank Taylor's blood whilst we helped set up some candles and then Taylor started to concentrate. 

' Power of Vampire power of mind link, link with Shawn ' Taylor chanted.  ' That's it ? ' Matt asked.  Nash went to hit the back of Matt's head but before he could Matt had already caught his arm in his palm ' Sorry Nash but he's a new born right now he could kill you in one single move so id put that hand down if I were you ' Mahogany muttered.  

After a long silence my thoughts started to become louder and louder amongst individual. Until It became a the reality. 

Matt's Point Of View 

There we all stood. In a circle right in front of another. Taylor chanted as the candles lit in front of us trying to channel Shawn's inside being. With one single chant we were all able to get into Shawn's head. Hearing everything. 

The longer the silence the clearer the sounds became. So clear that we were all able to hear the sounds of metal chains clattering and the sound of faulty light structures flickering. We all listened and waited for anything there was to come. Then it came. Genova and Jessica's voice started to circulate around us. Fear, worry and anger filled my body

Genova please. 

Don't leave me here.
