Chapter 20

Genova's Point Of View 

A week has passed since we've told Matt about the existence of vampires in the very town he lived in. And ever since then I've been having second thoughts whether it was a good or bad idea to tell Matt about our beings. I wondered if him knowing would make him safe by being more cautious or that it would be too dangerous for him to know otherwise. In other news the Vampire Council found out that Matt had discovered us beings, and lets just say it didn't go too well.

Flashback 

' What ?! ' the Vampire council men yelled throwing this fist in the air for all to see. ' How did this human find out about us ! '. One of the vampire leaders yelled pointing at Mat who stood besides us. ' He saw one of our council meetings ' I stated. The council went silent and exchanged glances amongst themselves and myself. In doing this Matt grew scared. 

' You all know the rules we abide by we have no choice but the action we must take. We have decided that we have to kill the boy, as this can cause the very existence of our beings ' the vampire council announced. ' No ! ' I screamed. ' You can't do this ' I yelled standing in front of Matt to distance him and the council. 

' Yes we can and we will,  we can't risk it Genova, you know what once happened when mortals found out about us, we can't risk losing that many again. He might reveal our community to the mortals and if they do that we will be killed ' they said trying to reason with me. But I just wouldn't happen. ' He'll keep it a secret he won't tell anybody he promised ' I spat. 

The elders all glanced at me with saddening looks on their faces, they must of felt how I felt for Matt and knew that killing him would affect me but they had to abide by the rules. ' We can't risk it Genova I'm sorry, we'll give him a week then it must be done you can't do anything to change what has been agreed on by the council we dismiss you all ' . They adjourned before everyone left leaving us alone. ' Cameron they can't do this ' I shook running up to Cameron crying onto his shoulder.

  ' Im sorry Genova maybe it were best if you hadn't met Matt in the first place ' Cameron sighed holding me tight. ' Cameron how dare you say that. You know it was faith that Matt met me. Mahogany felt it, Jessica felt it, to hell even Shawn felt it. Maybe the universe meant to bring Matt and I together because 

He isn't normal !

Matt's Point Of View 

' He isn't normal ' Genova screamed. I watched as her eyes started to darken. Cameron quickly removed his arms from Genova bringing them back to his sides. Jessica and Mahogany both shot each other the same scared looks before approaching Genova probably against their own wills. ' Genova please calm down ' Mahogany and Jessica said simultaneously. 

But it was no use she was getting angered the moment Cameron opened his mouth. ' Genova I'm sorry but it's the truth, If Matt is actually something supernatural I'm 1000x sure that someone else within the council would of found him themselves ' Cameron said. ' Not to break the moment but that's not helping ' Shawn muttered. 

Taylor shot Shawn a look telling him not to interfere with the growing scene. I scanned everyone's faces seeing them all frightened. Was Genova really that bad when she was mad ?. No one dared to move their feet, no one dared to say a word. But I knew someone had to do something or Genova would explode. 

So I shoved Cameron out of the way and stood in front of Genova facing her body to me as I gripped both her upper arms. ' Genova look at me ' I said ' Please calm down ' I cooed capturing my gaze to hers. Genova forced her self not to meet my gaze but I forced her look upwards so she had no choice but to meet my gaze. 

As soon as she did her eyes twitched as if they were gaining control again from her anger. With each passing second her eyes softened more and more until the darkness disappeared completely. ' Its okay your okay ' I whispered pulling her closer. ' No its not ' she spoke as tears flooded her eyes replacing the darkness. ' They're  gonna kill you Matt I don't want them too ' she stuttered.

Unknown Point Of View 

Aw poor Genova her boy toy has to die.

 Maybe I shouldnt have told the council about Matt knowing..

But oh well if Genova wanted to keep me quiet she shouldnt have played dirty
