Chapter 34

Jessica's Point Of View 

Within this small globe within the solar system there are bad people, there are  terrible people and there are criminals. Although those seem really bad, there are also monsters. During my lifetime I have always considered the vampires on the dark side to be monsters. But I have never experienced the being of a true monster until now. 

Kian was the monster. 

He knew that Genova was not in a good state. But that did not even cross his mind when he committed the actions he did. He turned around at his heels and stabbed the knife into Genova's stomach. My eyes grew wide as he sank the kind deeper into her stomach, his hand almost disappearing into her body.

  ' No ! '  I screamed. I tugged on the chains as hard as I could but it simply wouldn't break. ' Genova ! I'm soo sorry ! '  I cried as Kian stood back and leaned on the wall with a smirk growing on his face as he watched me cry with guilt. ' W-Why are you sorry ? ' Genova whispered weakly. 

' H-he's torturing you because of me I should of kept my mouth shut ' I cried. Genova's trembling mouth went to open as if to mutter a few more words but before she could, a groan escaped her lips instead.

 Her eyes could no longer keep themselves open, her skin started to get paler than she already was and the sound of her heartbeat started to slow down in my head. The beats becoming less frequent. ' Kian she's dying ' I cried.

' Shut up she's not, she's just putting on a show ' Kian screamed back slapping me across the face. ' Y-Yes she is I can hear her heartbeat, i-its slowing-g down Kian save her please ill do anything ' I cried. ' Shut the fuck up stop she's not dying I would know if she was ' Kian seethed leaving the room with the slam of the door. 

Kian was wrong. 

Genova was dying.

I've seen this before.

Matt's Point Of View 

Just the sight of weakened a Mahogany made me mad making my eyes grow black. I felt my veins pumping my blood rapidly. I clenched my fist looking back to see Mahogany who was on the ground with Cameron's hand around her neck. I looked down at my restraints and ripped them upwards freeing myself. I sped up to Cameron punching him square in the jaw knocking him to the side. Leave.Her.Alone.

I picked Cameron up and swung at him but in mid air he caught my arm. Cameron looked at me with such hatred and punched me directly in the stomach knocking the wind out of me.I stumbled back on impact gasping for air but what Cameron did just made me angrier. 

I got up again and sped to him pushing him onto the ground punching him continuously. Every punch I swung another one was on it's way. Blood started to pour from his nose and mouth. Cameron tried to fight back but he just couldn't land a punch. I was beyond angry. 

I may have only met these group of people for a few months but I've grown to like these people and if they were in danger I won't hesitate to fight. ' M-matt stop your gonna kill him ' Mahogany whispered weakly trying to grasp onto me.  

My punches came to a halt as I looked at her with sympathy. I knew she was right so I turned back to Cameron ready to pull off. Bur instead I met a strong punch on the side of my face making me stumble back and hit the ground. 

' Ugh ' I groaned. ' Little Matthew Espinosa your mother still hasn't taught you huh ' Cameron smirked picking himself up before landing a kick in my gut. The pain making me screw my eyes shut. ' I always knew you were a weakling ' he muttered turning to his side to grab a wooden chair and breaking it. 

His hands grabbed a sharp piece of the chair and stabbed me right in the stomach making me scream out in pain. ' That's why I left you ' he screamed stabbing the wooden stick deeper into my stomach making me arch my back. ' You ignorant child ' he screamed lunging the stick into my heart.

Flashback

' I love you Matthew remember that mommy always loves you ' mom cooed as she kissed my forehead. ' Goodnight Mommy ' ; ' goodnight Matthew ' mom whispered. It was all peace and quiet when suddenly we heard a door slam.

It was my dad he was drunk. He always came home like this every night, there would always be a lot of noises in my mom and dads room and every time my dad would leave I would see my mom crying on the floor with blood on her neck but there would be no wound.

Sometimes I would see her on her bed naked and crying grasping for the sheets. I was only four so I didn't know what was happening but then over the years I realised....

' What are you doing here ' mom yelped standing in front of my bed ' I live here what do you think ' my dad scoffed. ' Get out I told you never to come back ' mom cried. ' GET OUT OF MY HOUSE ' she screamed.

My dads eyes immediately darkened. He walked up to my mom holding onto her neck. ' Don't talk to me like that you little bitch ' dad snarled. Throwing mom to the wall making her fall to the ground. ' Mommy ' I cried getting out of bed going up to her.

I kneeled onto the ground holding my moms head. ' Mommy I'll call help stay here o-okay ? ' I cried. I started to walk to the door when I felt someone push me back. ' Where do you think your going ' dad screamed ' to get help for mommy ' I yelled trying to get to the door hitting him by accident in the process

I was suddenly pushed into the ground knocking my head on the ground hard ' don't you fucking dare Matthew stay here or I'll kill you. You saw nothing ' dad snarled gripping my neck everything in my vision started to get blurry. I heard my mom scream and cry trying to get my dad off me but she was just too weak.

My dad finally let go of my neck. My mom pushed him out of the door slamming the door shut. ' I don't need you. You are the most ignorant bitch of a wife and Matthew your an ignorant child ' dad screamed before leaving my life and never coming back.

' D-dad ? ' I stuttered looking up . A smug look crawled onto Cameron's face sending shivers down my spine.  Cameron immediately fainted with a black shadow escaping his body
