Chapter 49

Flashback to when Lucy was taken away

Mahogany's Point Of View During Flashback

' where is she !! ' Cameron yelled making all of us flinch back. It's been 3 weeks since Lucy disappeared. No one knows where she is, not even Cameron. We don't even know how that's possible giving the fact that Cameron and Lucy were mates.

Each pair of Mates can physically and mentally track each other down. No matter where they are in the world no matter what side of the immortal world they were on each pair of mates will always be able to track their mate down in a heart beat. And it honestly scares us that Cameron can't track Lucy down

Every time Cameron would try to track her down he would claim how he couldn't hear anything. He couldn't hear her heart beats, he couldn't hear her thoughts, he couldn't feel their connection.

' Where could she be Mahogany, she's been gone for way too long. Where is she ? ' Cameron scream punching a hole square into the wall. ' I-I don't know Cameron I-I don't know ' I stuttered looking down at my hands feeling everyone's eyes stare at the both of us with such sorrow. 

' I-I'm sorry Mahogany ' Cameron whispered. ' I-I just want someone to tell me that she's okay, some one to tell me the one I love is not in harm and is actually alive ' Cameron sighed pulling me into a hug.

I sighed knowing what he felt ' I know Cameron I know ' I whispered giving him a weak squeeze, with silence immediately taking over us as Cameron's arms still wrapped around my body. ' Why can't I track Lucy ? ' Cameron whispered with his voice cracking at the end.

I scrunched my eyebrows together taking Cameron's arms off making him look at me. And as soon as our eyes connected I instantly saw Cameron's eyes flooded with tears. He was so lost without her. 

His eyes scanned mine begging for an answer, his lips quivered trying to hold in his cries that I know he's been holding in for 3 weeks and the way his arms just dropped down on the sides of his body, too weak to even lift up. 

He needed Lucy not only for her safety but for his needs too. Lucy was the only person that was keeping him sane in this cruel world and now she was gone as well. I don't know how long Lucy will be gone or how long it'll take until she comes back but I hope it's soon because by the looks of it Cameron isn't gonna be holding up too long.

Jack Johnson's Point Of View During The Flashback

We watched in front of us as one of our closest friends crumbled down. I was never the type of person to feel for people's sadness and comfort them, but they were our friends, I was willing to make an exception. The way pain flashed through this eyes. I just couldn't see my friend in pain like this.

I know I had no right to do this but I felt obligated to. I know someday in the future Cameron is gonna hate me for doing this but what I'm about to do is all for him. I was willing to risk our friendship just to save him.

Mahogany's Point Of View During Flashback

' Jack are you sure about this ? ' I whispered as we stopped at a halt in front of Cameron's house at 3:49 am. ' We have to Mahogany didn't you see the way Cameron was breaking without Lucy by his side ? ' Gilinsky asked ' I know he was breaking Gilinsky but what happens if Lucy comes back ? ' I asked

Johnson sighed sending Gilinsky a look before nodding his head. Lucy's never coming back Mahogany ' Johnson said looking down at his hands. As those words left his mouth I didn't know what to think. I didn't even know if those words actually came out of his mouth and I was just imagining it. 

Was I just imagining things ? he couldn't of said that, it was like what he said made my brain stop analysing all these thought's that were flooding into my mind making my head throb with questions. ' W-what do you mean she's not coming back ? '

I asked with my voice cracking at the end. Johnson took a deep breath nodding his head.' As you know Cameron kept yelling for us to track Lucy down using black magic but every time he does we have been shutting Cameron down telling him that our powers aren't working for that matter

But the truth is we seriously don't know where Lucy is. Every time we try to track her down there's this type of shield that's restricting us from finding her. We don't know if it's regular magic or even dark magic; it scares us because it doesn't even matter what type of magic they are even using

Their powers are way more powerful then ours so there's no way for us to track down Lucy '
Johnson finished. ' S-So your telling me someone out there is more powerful then you guys that's possibly holding Lucy captive ? ' I asked scared for them to agree with my theory. 

' Not exactly Mahogany we don't know if Lucy is captured but it's a slight chance she is. I mean if someone's restricting us from finding her they must be protecting them selves from being tracked down too, I mean do you think the strongest superheroes in the word hides from villains ' Gilinsky answered.

' So I guess there's no choice ' I sighed as much as I didn't want to admit it there's absolutely no other choice. Without Lucy Cameron's just gonna crumble down and fall and no ones gonna be there to fix up the pieces.

Johnson's Point Of View During Flashback

I climbed up Cameron's window hanging on for dear life. ' Why couldn't we just use the front door ' I yelled in a whisper down to Gilinsky and Mahogany who were watching me struggle to get up. ' You really think Cameron's going to casually let you in so you can take his memory ? ' Mahogany stated.

I just rolled my eyes and proceeded to climb onto his balcony. As soon as I got onto his balcony I slid his door expecting him to my dead asleep but instead I meet Cameron who had his head in his hands. ' C-Cameron ? ' I whispered not expecting him to be awake. ' J-Johnson what are you doing here ? ' Cameron sniffled in a I just woke up voice.

' Oh I just need to tell you something ' I said feeling guilty for what I'm about to do. ' What do you need to tell me at this hour J ? ' Cameron asked getting up wiping his eyes which I saw were red from tears.

' I'm so sorry man ' I whispered connecting my eyes with Cameron. I focused all my power into my eyes to lock Cameron's brain into mine. Taking away all the control and power Cameron had in his body . As soon as all control that Cameron had in his body was taken away I had to start the spell immediately, which was gonna take away every single memory Cameron had of Lucy 

I had to use a memory spell that may be used to increase someone's general memory of a person or object , or weaken their brain of a certain subject. This Memory spells may also be used to remember a specific moment in time, or forget one if you so wish.

I closed my eyes whispering the spell making every memory of Lucy Cameron had seep through into my mind. The memory of Cameron and Lucy first meeting flew into my mind along with the memory of when Cameron first fell in love with Lucy along with their first time together and when Cameron gave Lucy a promise ring

Every single memory of LucyCameron had that came to life in my mind weakened me. All their happy times together, all their treasured moments . I was taking away all the key points of my best friends mind and throwing it right down the drain without even a moment to think.

But there was no turning back now. As the last memory synced into my mind soon disappearing into a dark void. I opened my eyes and disconnected from Cameron seeing him blink a couple times before the colour of his eyes turned a darker shade. ' So what do you need to tell me ? ' Cameron asked with a small smile on his face.

' I just wanted to say im so sorry, everything I did was for you bro '. And just like that I disappeared into the dark leaving Cameron memory less of former lover.
