Chapter 51

Matt's Point Of View 

I listened to the final beats of my heart. A sudden shock exploded in all parts of my body. I first felt it on my left foot. It felt like pins and needles but 100x worse I didn't know why I was experiencing this pain right now I was dying. 

Wasn't I ?

 I wanted to clutch my foot in pain but I couldn't move anything. It was like I was made into a statue restricting me from any types of movement. I couldn't move my arms I couldn't move my legs I couldn't move anything.

The pain felt like cold death travelling through every inch of my body making me beg for it to stop. As my body started to get use to the bad feeling in my left foot a sudden explosion went off in my right foot I wanted to scream.

I wanted to scream with all the power I had in my body. Nothing could explain the pain I had running my body. The pain was unbearable and as I thought it couldn't get worst another explosion splurged out in my right arm. 

I clenched my jaw to try and relive at least a bit of the pain but it was doing nothing. And just like that another explosion bursted in my left arm. I felt pain in all part's of my body. And it came out in waves. I didn't know what was happening to me but I didn't care all I wanted to know was is if this feeling ever gonna stop. 

I felt like this pain would overtake the pain of death anytime it was so bad that it made my heart hurt like it was gonna explode at any time . But what I soon realised made my brain hurt even more from wonder.

Pain wasn't the only thing that was flowing around my body. Adrenaline was running through it as well. I felt it run through my veins like it was sending a message. The adrenaline running through my veins felt like wild fire spreading in my body

I was experiencing so much pain that if even more pain were to spread in my body I wouldn't be able to handle it. Out of no where my body started to shake. My body shook violently like an earthquake.As my mind exploded with thoughts of what was happening to me. I could slowly feel a numbing feeling over take my body that started to allow me to move my body again.

My heart beat started to quicken. I started to see a bright light in front of my eyes. Was I going into heaven ? was I finally gonna die in peace ? No. I was wrong. The light that reflected in my eyes was a light that was reflecting from my body. My body was shining a white light. It started in my arm then the light slowly started to creep 

Onto my arm then towards my torso. I looked to my right to see Cameron. He was yelling but I couldn't hear anything. Everything was silent.Cameron's face was enraged with anger. His face was red if this were a cartoon smoke came out of his ears. His fists were balled up into fists making his veins pop out of his skin. 

I teared my attention away from Cameron to see a girl terrified as ever. As soon as my eyes focused from the blurriness I realised it was Lucy. She was crying hysterically. Her face was stained with tears both wet and dry. Hey eyes looked pained and sad like someone had just died. 

Cameron yelled at her whilst walking towards her which Lucy retaliated by taking steps back. But that soon stopped when Lucy's back came in contact with the wall.

As Lucy's weakened body slid down the wall Cameron lifted his arm up in fury. He balled his fist and his eyes turned black. My eyes flicked from Lucy to Cameron not knowing who to look at. As Cameron lifted his fist in the air ready to swing

My inner anger was awaken. A sudden flashback flashed in my eyes with my dad hurting my mom. I watched as my five year old self watched his drunken dad yell and scream at his crying mom who begged him to stop for my sake but he didn't listen .
