Chapter 10

Genova's Point Of View 

I woke up similar to the previous days I have. Everything seemed to be as similar as the last. But today I felt even worse than I usually do. A groan escaped my lips as I took a stretch getting ready for the day.  Once I was done I headed off to school same old same old. 

' Hey ' Mahogany and Taylor muttered catching me amongst the sea of students. ' How are you doing ? ' they both asked. ' Why? ' I asked back curious as to why they were sticking their heads into my business.  ' We heard what you were going to do to with Matt ' Taylor explained. ' Oh ' I muttered not wanting to get into that whole ordeal.

' Hey It's okay Gen you don't need to answer as of now, in your defence I do believe that what you did is for the best ' Shawn appeared reassuring me. I just nodded agreeing with his statement choosing not to comment on the subject. I felt Jessica's eyes burning into me as I stood there; probably reading my ora. 

Her eyes scanned each and every inch of my body before stopping at a certain area where her eyes grew. ' Where's your werewolf tooth ? ' Jessica asked in shock. ' Matt has it '  I answered briefly. The bell thankfully rang halting any comments my friends had of my werewolf tooth, but for now though. So we all made our way to out first class Biology. 

' You feel for him dont you ? ' Jessica asked placing her hand on my shoulder.  I just nodded my head knowing that there was no point lying to her.. she read me. ' It's okay Gen your just really in a rut right now so your heart must be mustering any sort of answer to fill your void ' she said while she put her arm around my shoulder. 

We made it into Biology and all sat down thankfully no further conversations arose. I glanced at the wooden desk next to me finding it empty, Matt wasn't in his seat. Then as if on cue Matt walked through the door striding right where we were. ' Hey Genova ' Matt smiled while he sat down next to me. 

Knowing I couldn't talk to him I turned to my side and pretended that I had formulated a conversation with Mahogany knowing he would't dare interfere with our conversation; but I was wrong. ' Are you okay ? ' Matt asked grabbing my shoulder to face him. ' I'm fine ' I unintentionally hissed. Matt's face dropped to my sudden out burst then turned away and focused on the teacher that I had no realised started the lesson already. 

I glanced to my side noticing Mahogany as she sent me a weak smile before focusing on the teacher as well. Everything seemed go as a normal day should, that was until someone  came through the door. ' Hey miss I've been transferred into your class ' I looked up to see Adelaide.

Adelaide was what you would call the school's popular girl besides me and my friends of course. Although she is sweet to  everyone around her she was the opposite when it came to me. She hated my guts with every being of her soul. She hates me so much that I find her doing things that I would typically do. It came to clothes, friends, belongings... boys. She often settled for my sloppy seconds if that's what she considered to get under my skin. 

Matt's Point Of View 

I woke up this morning with the presence of myself. I have soon come to realise that my mom went off on a business trip with her job; of course she did. I looked around my room for some reason feeling that Genova should be here. But she wasn't I guess she had went home during the late hours of the night. I went into my bathroom to take a shower.

 But as I was taking off my clothes I noticed a tooth like necklace that dangled from my neck resting upon my chest.'  This isn't mine ' I muttered out loud letting my finger tips graze upon the tooth. But what interested me was that it didn't look completely unfamiliar. I had seen this necklace somewhere before.  Then it hit me. Genova had one. Maybe she gave it to me ?

There I was running through the halls. I entered into school realising that not a single student lingered in the halls. Indicating that class had started so here I was bolting to my class.  I made a B line for my locker and stuffed all the things I didn't need  into my locker before taking out my Biology book heading straight for class. Once I made it the teacher barely started the role call so I knew I was okay, I trotted to the back heading for my seat. 

Once I was seating I turned to my side and tried to talk to Genova but turned away and started a conversation with Mahogany. I kindly waited for them to finish but by the looks of where it was going I knew they weren't going to finish soon so I decided to intrude just to just muttered a quick hi. But all she simply did was sneer at me. 

I decided that for the rest of the class to leave her alone seeing as she was in a bad mood, I didn't want to get on her bad side today. The class simply went on with the lesson but that was until an unfamiliar girl strides into the class introducing herself as Adelaide. She glanced around the room before she caught a desk that seemed to be unoccupied. Next to mine. 

' Hey I'm Adelaide ' she whispered. ' Hi I'm Matt ' I smiled introducing myself. I thought back to Genova how she seemed like she didn't want to associate with me today. ' Do you wanna sit with me at lunch ' I asked the words spilling out of my mouth faster than my head could think. She just nodded and smiled before taking out her books starting her first lesson in this class. The whole time during class Genova would glance at me but I decided to just ignore her she clearly didn't want me to be with her so I kept my head down.

Genova's Point Of View 

When class ended Adelaide grabbed Matt's hand making both their way out of class to which I'm guessing the cafeteria. The cafeteria tables always filled out quick so you had to quickly save yourself a seat by running out of class but that didn't stop Adelaide from glancing my way to smirk at me before she disappeared outside with Matt. I squinted my eyes wishing that I had shot her a glare before she left but before I could start to get pissed.

 A pair of hands rested softly on my shoulders giving them a soft squeeze. ' Let him go ' Cameron said pulling me to him. I closed my eyes and sighed silently agreeing. We exited the class and made our way into the cafeteria. Upon entering I immediately saw Matt sitting with Adelaide they were both laughing pf course they had to sit in front of the cafeteria so they would be more noticeable .

 All of us strutted to our usual table where Shawn and Taylor scared off some freshman who had already sit down pushing them away before we sat down at a table then started to make conversations. After a few conversations here and there Nash finally decided to join us with a red head wrapped around him like a bag. ' Hey Nash ' I greeted chuckling at his accessory. ' Who's this ? ' Mahogany asked motioning to his lady friend kinda worried.

' Oh this is my lovely friend Anna- Janelle '  the girl interrupted slightly pissed now. ' Oh right ' Nash said shortly following Taylor who bursted out laughing barely able to contain himself. I glanced squinting my eyes at her before bringing my hand up to her neck moving it to the side to reveal two distinct holes. ' Really Nash here ? '  Jessica hissed now examining the girl along side myself. '

 Calm down Jessie '  Nash cooed ' that's why I brought Janelle here so Genova can fix her ' . Nash said explaining himself. I shook my head scooting closer to the girl and placed my palm on the base of her neck where the holes were and healed her. Once done Taylor moved me aside skimming around the cafeteria to see if anyone was looking before compelling the girl 

' you will not remember this all you remember is you tripped in the hallway and Shawn helped you up, bringing you to the cafeteria to find your friends ' Taylor said the girl blinked a few times before unwrapping herself from Nash walking away. ' Really Nash ' Taylor barked ' why here ? ' he continued. ' Oh shut up Taylor your the biggest hypocrite you use to be exactly like me if not worse ' Shawn argued. 

' I just matured ' Taylor retorted crossing his arms in victory. ' Taylor you still sleep in footy pyjamas ' Jessica laughed shutting him down. ' Shut up Jessica just because you want this ' Taylor chuckled pointing to his dick. ' Ha ha ' Jessica sarcastically spat before we all erupted into laugher. But that quickly died down when Adelaide decided to come over.
