Dul yawned as he gently pulled the door open, it was early. Too early. "Jieun, shouldn't you be able to wake up by yourself?" He texted on his phone which read it out. She gave a small hiss as she hurried to throw a pillow, he didn't care and just accepted it as it took much energy to even side step away. "Dad, don't you think you should be able to talk?" She muttered annoyed as Dul sat at the edge of her bed.
He looked around the room and sighed. 'ah... I definitely spoiled her.' he thought as he patted her back trying to wake her up. 'or maybe she's spending too much time with Jisuk.' he hummed as he flopped on her legs. 'looks like your legs are going to sleep when you're going to wake up, how painful it'll be, huh.' the robotic voice only made it seem sadistic as he fell off the bed. "Ah! Get off!" She shouted as she hurried to get up. She gasped as she saw the time.
09:30 AM
She paused as she saw her father lay on the floor, it seemed like his illness kicked through and he ended up falling asleep mid fall, quite lucky. She glared as she threw a pillow at him. "Dad! This isn't early! I'm late!" A small grunt was heard as Dul woke up again, he gave a yawned as he took the pillow and hugged it. "Is that so... Whoops." He tiredly said as he nuzzled into the pillow.
"I'm telling Jiyoung." She stared down at the lazy excuse of a father, all those rumours about him being scary and powerful was nothing compared to how he was a father. Loving and caring but also lazy and pretty much laid-back. Though, there were times he did get scary... She didn't talk about it. "Ah... Jiyoung." He muttered as he had a slight blush, she sighed as she rushed over to get ready. "Dad, please take your medicine and wake up! Don't you have work and you need to take me to school." She pleaded as Dul blinked.
"Okay." The phone replied as he slowly got up and rushed to take his meds, he sat at the table to which had his energy drink and a simple protein bar, he tiredly ate it as Jieun sat down. "Papa, please eat something better- and stop drink those!" He glanced at her and sighed. "Your health matters more than me, so shut up and ate or I'll break one of those cat plates Inhyuk got you." He types down a bit annoyed as he had to even touch those evil things, the cutlery and dishware were all from the stupid male and he hated that he was too much of a cheapskate to even throw them out.
Compared to his daughter's meal, it was almost sad, she had a whole breakfast though he knew if he had made too much 'fat food' he would hear about him trying to ruin her body and about how she would never had a boyfriend and it was his fault. Quite frankly, he would kill anyone who even called her such or even muttered those words... But he had to resist. He didn't want to break out of jail again, Jiyoung made him stay for a month as punishment once she found out the reason why.
"Sometimes... She reminds me of her."
He thought as he stared at her, he didn't have anything to cover his face, he never his his face from Jieun as he didn't want to hide from his own daughter, it took baby steps but eventually he managed to be completely free and showed her his face. He remembered when he first held her that she had taken off his hat, such tiny fingers and strength she used; compared to the many people and enemies that often tried to unmask the male, was so little yet he let it happen at first he was amazed at how much she smiled at him, how much she wanted to be held by him and how she babbled at him trying to get his affection. He couldn't help but smile and cry but he definitely remembered how he called out to her and despite how much pain it was to even talk back then how much it made her happy.
"Jieun... My precious baby."
Jieun looked up as she stared at her father confused. "Dad? Am I really that precious to you?" Dul just smiled as he nodded. "Of course." A small clap was heard as Dul looked up to see Inhyuk, Dul's eye twitch as Jieun grinned. "Papa!" Dul choked on his energy drink. "Don't call him that! Disgusting!" Inhyuk grinned as he hugged the child, they both looked at eachother. "Papa, why is dad acting like you two aren't married." "Oi! We aren't married-" "I don't know sweetheart, I didn't know our nights of passion were so meaningle-" Inhyuk had a blush on his face while he held his cheeks with both hands while Jieun had stars in her eyes cheering for the male to continue his acting.
