Dul sighed as he leaned his head against Inhyuk's shoulder, everything was hitting him right now. The gentle rubs on his temples felt good. Inhyuk truly knew the male better than himself and it showed as Inhyuk slapped his hand away from his mouth as he attempted to bite his hand off to fight fire with the sudden pain. "Stop." He muttered as he shifted the younger's body into his own so that he could have one arm cradle his upper body while his other hand would rub his temples. "What's wrong?" Inhyuk asked though he knew that the male wouldn't open up about it so quickly. Minki's adam apple moves a bit as he swallowed back the words he wanted to say but nothing would come out.
"... I'm thinking about it," he paused as he fiddled with Inhyuk's fingers unsure if he should continue. "Visiting my family." His voice echoed throughout the room as Inhyuk breathing stopped. "I don't agree but if that's what you want I'll go with you." Minki swallowed his words again but sighed as he closed his eyes and held onto his friend's fingers. "Thank you for everything, Inhyuk." The older male sighed as he removed himself from Minki and helped him to his bed. "Jieun went to sleep so try to sleep. I'll come to check in later but if anything happens or if you need me just call for me." He whispered as he waited for him to fall asleep, Minki's body relaxed at the confirmation and gently smiled as he slowly loosens his hold on his fingers. "Simp." He tiredly said as Inhyuk chuckled. "We both know who the true simp is." He whispered as he gently placed a kiss near the corner of Minki's lips. "Bastard." An annoyed looked covered his face as Inhyuk smiled gently. "Can't you say one nice thing... You just ruined this moment." Minki stayed silent as he reached over to caressed his face.
"私はあなたが嫌いです、しかしあなたはそれが嘘であることを知っています."
Inhyuk blinked as he couldn't understand a single word but knew but the simple action that he had said something nice or close to it. "What was that? Are you embarrassed?" He lightly teased as he saw Minki's eyes flutter close and his hand falling but he quickly caught it and gently laid it down. He stared at the sleeping teen. "I'm annoyed. I didn't understand a single thing." He sighed as he left making sure to lock the door.

'Damnit... It's so heavy.' Dul thought bitterly as he let the sand from his fingers slip through it felt as if the weight of which it carried never left. He took a deep breath as he laid on the sand ready to face whatever demons it brought.
But he was wrong, soon the sand turned into someone... Someone he used to care for and someone he once loved and cared for.
And suddenly the sand was warm and it felt like a familiar hug.
"Ujin?" He whispered out as he reached out to grab but like a sandcastle, the waves of emotions made him get swept away.

Minki slowly opened his eyes, that dream was sad for him. He let out a small cry as he stuffed his face into the pillow next to him. The academy had taken each of their phones so they couldn't get distracted yet he needed that right now. He slowly got off his bed and get dressed in shorts and a shirt while grabbing a thick baby blanket for Jieun. He gulped as he slipped in his shoes and went for a stroll trying to figure out what he should do.
He found himself at the docks, his hat was put on but he couldn't help but make it cover his face more as the small droplets fell to the sand. 'I miss them.' he thought as he gently traced Jieun's face and then carefully played with her fingers. He kept her body close to his, wanting to protect her from the cold. He didn't know how long he was outside but the sunrise came
A small 'oh' came from his mouth as he stood up and turned to walk back to the dorms but he blinked as he saw a few students walking around, he walked past them but they didn't like that. "Hey! You're one of the unaffiliated kids." One shouted as the while group grinned, they notice noticed his bundle of joy in his arms as one of them grabbed him by his shoulder flinging him into the ground. 'shit.' he thought as he twisted his body so that he didn't get his daughter hurt. "Hey look. He has a pet." They grinned as they went to stomp on him but he hurried to flip himself over protecting the child.
The rules were fucked in this type of situation. He gulped as he felt his head being smashed into the cement.
"Waah!"
"What was that!" They shouted but saw that the bundle in his arms was on the floor, at the last second placed her down and lifted himself making a barrier but his arms were shaking as he couldn't hold his body up anymore. "Is- is that a baby?!" They shouted as Dul gave out a suffering sigh, he slowly stood up and held the baby in his arms, she cried loudly as she clung to his shirt. 'they woke her.' he thought as he wiped away the blood from his head before it could spill on her. "What's going on here?!" A few patrols saw the group and the state Dul was in. "Hey, is that even allowed!" They began to shout about the fact Dul brought a baby.
"Huh." The Awakened turned and saw Dul hand him Jieun. His eyes widen after getting a glimpse of his eyes. Anger. Dul stepped in front of them and raised his hand to slap the leader. They all went to jump him but Dul let out a deep breath letting out hot smoke burning their skin even his own. They screamed as they tried to soothe their skin from the hot smoke but Dul didn't let them escape as he rushed to grab them by their hair and punched them repeatedly until they couldn't move.
He sighed as he squatted to the floor, a constant burst of smoke was let out with each breath burning both him and the unconscious awakened beneath him. The patrol Awakened gulped as he handed Jieun back. "I have to report this... You understand, right?" They asked nervously but Dul nodded. "I'll need your name, sir." He stayed quiet. "Dul... And sorry for the mess." He said as he wiped his hands on the clothing of the nearly dead and walked back to his dorm.
He hummed gently as he tried to calm Jieun who was still crying. He blinked as he saw Inhyuk who ran over to him. "What happened!?" Dul reached over to tightly grab at his neck but blinked as he realized that Jieun wasn't in danger. Minki removed his hand as he leaned his body against Inhyuk's. "Unaffiliateds... Have such a hard life." He muttered as he pushed himself off and walked away leaving Inhyuk worried.
Minki yawned as he laid on the bed but his door was flung open as Inhyuk carried in a medkit. Minki sighed as he let Inhyuk patch him up despite how tired he was. "Explain." Minki frowned as he explains himself though he didn't explain why he decided to go for a walk. "I think I may have killed them." He muttered as he rubbed his face. "No, you didn't," Inhyuk muttered as he laid him back down. "Your classes will start soon, take a nap. I'll watch Jieun." Minki sighed as he nodded. "Thank you." He said softly.
Did he just... No... He must've heard wrong.
Inhyuk stared at the sleeping male as he tried to process what just happened...
fun fact; dul/minki never considered inhyuk as a love interest... but inhyuk has thought of dul/minki like that.
