Minki bit into his ice cream cone as he sat at a bench with two other moms. They all giggled as they saw the male watching a certain kid, it made Minki a bit disgusted. 'Fuck off... Shouldn't you've watching your kids?' he cursed as he smiled while looking at the kids having fun. "You're quite popular." A voice spoke up making Minki jump.

"Sorry, I was wondering if it was actually you." The woman spoke, Minki's eyes shined as he smiled. "Eunbi." Her eyes widened. "You can talk now?" Her eyes watered from excitement and pulled the young father into a hug. "I am so proud of you!" Minki laughed as he nodded. "They said I'm almost at full speaking range, but I should be a bit more careful with screaming."

He remembered his last appointment, he was scolded by his personal doctor when he lies about screaming. His throat muscles and vocal cords were stressed and strained. His doctor could clearly see the signs.

He chuckled nervously at the doctor's seeping anger towards him. "You scream alot?" He nodded. "I have a co worker who often riles me up. And a kid who's too much like an annoying little brother." She couldn't get over the fact that Minki was speaking so smoothly and squealed. "I'm really happy you're able to speak, it must've hurt so much." He gave a smile. "Thanks, how's your kid?"

The two talked for sometime until it began to get dark. "Well, it was nice seeing you Minki. Let's talk again." She gave a small bow but Minki gave her a formal bow. He took a small breath as he dragged behind them a wagon. "Let's go shopping, yeah?" He signed to Jieun who stared at him until she realized what he said. "Oh yes! Let's go!"

They began to shop, they were going to head over to the island soon. Minki was finally going to face his fears of the cult but he also was a bit scared for obvious reasons. He took a deep breath at the thought, but he was now stronger mentally and emotionally, he wasn't going to cave in.

Minki hummed as he didn't notice Jieun letting go of his hand and walk away, she turned around. "I'll be back, papa. I'll be at the toys." She whispered knowing if she actually asked he wouldn't let her so she hurried off with a smile.

Jieun giggled as he walked along the toys, beautiful dolls and cool looking guns tempted her as she tried to reach to grab something similar to her father. A purple bucket hat with a cute looking smile on it. She huffed as she tried to grab it but she couldn't reach so she jumped, her tiny diner grazed the hand due to the excitement of almost grabbing it. She wasn't about to land correctly and fell.

"Urgh..." She held her chin as it was hit onto the bottom of the shelves. A man stared blankly as he wasn't so sure what he had witness. He felt bad and walked over before squatting down next to her. "Hello. Are you okay?" He asked softly thought it made Jieun shake in fear at the deep voice. She looked up.

"Papa? Did you dye your hair?" She asked confused, the male looked confused as he touched his hair. "Huh... I'm not your papa and this is my natural color." He spoke softly. "I'm Jaesung not your Papa." Her eyes sadden. "Oh... You're right. My papa's name is Minki." She smiled and Jaesung smiled, she reminded him if his little brother.

"Minki, that's a wonderful name. And what is your's?" She giggled and nodded. "My papa is very— pretty! My name is Jieun!" She grinned as she dragged out the word making the male chuckle at her.

Soon, the two were playing. Patty cake, pretend princess and knight, cop and robbers and heros. The laughter of Jieun could be heard.

"Jieun! Jieun Yoo!" A panicked voice was heard as Jaesung raised a brow before looking down as a guilty looking Jieun. He bent down. "Did you not tell your papa you were here?" He spoke softly trying not to scare her. "I... If I told him... He wouldn't let me come." She whispered as he frowned. "You can do that, what if you were taken from him... He would be very scared and very sad."

He was about to speak again but heard huffing from behind them. "Jieun! Oh my god! Sweetheart, are you okay?!" He shouted as they both looked at the stressed male.

Minki's eyes widen as he stared at the man playing with Jieun. "Wha-" The man looked shocked as he turned to Jieun and then Minki. "You can speak now?"

Jaesung spoke with a soft smile as slowly stood up, noticing how the other was shaking. He slowly walked up to him and reached out to gently hold Dul's cheek almost lovingly. "I've found you." He didn't mean to make it sound so taunting and quickly noticed his tone, he tried to explain but it was too late.

Minki's breathing quickened as he stepped back, he wanted to run, Jieun had tears in her eyes seeing her father act like that. "Please, calm down. I just want-" Minki ran pass him, picking up Jieun before running away from the male in a rush, he didn't want to hear it. He didn't want to listen. He refuses to listen to him.

'No. No, no, no, no. No!' he thought in a panic as he held the back Jieun's head as he ran. He panted as he sat down at a bench. He sat Jieun down on the bench before covering his face. "Oh god... Did she send him to get me? How does he know about Jieun?" He whispered as he simply didn't know what to do, he didn't hear someone catching up to him.

"Ujin... You forgot this." His head snapped over to Jaesung who looked like he rang a mile. His body shook like a leaf as he hugged Jieun close to his body. "What do you want? Why are you here?" His voice was quiet as he avoided eye contact. Jaesung sat down next to him.

"Sorry... I didn't mean to scare you, truly." He started as he glanced at how protect Ujin was with Jieun. "Is... Is she your daughter?" He asked despite knowing the answer. He stayed silent. "Yes... She my daughter." He muttered making Jaesung smile. "She looks just like you." Minki looked down at Jieun and slowly let go of her.

"Papa! Do you know him?" She spoke softly a but scared of Jaesung now after seeing her react in such a way. He paused as he but his bottom lip, Jaesung stayed quiet as he didn't want to say anything without his permission. "Oh my, you look just like your father." He cooed as he stared at her.

"Jaesung... Who does she really look like?" There was a deafening pause Jaesung didn't actually know what he meant. "Does she look like mom or dad?" He asked his tone was monotone as Jaesung frowned. "She looks like none of them, just like you, Ujin." He spoke confidently.

He looked at Jieun. Did she? He always thought she looked more like her mother and his parents. She never had any resemblance to him, or so he thought. "She has your sparking eyes, your personality when we were kids, heh, she even has your chubby cheeks." His eyes widened as he turned to Jaesung.

"I guess you could say... She looks like my adorable little brother."
