wasn't birthed.Dul stared blankly as he had a veil covering his face, his lips were painted red while his makeup was pinker and with hints of gold while dressed in white. The voices continued to praise him for his power, he was a false prophet yet he couldn't convince them that he was just a normal child. He flinched as he felt the priest touch his face, it was degrading for the male as he was forced into a more feminine-looking hanbok. He gulped as he stared directly into the man's eyes which held adoration and obsession.
"Disgusting."
The older man glared at the teen who just quickly forced his face away and continued to look onto the sea of brainwashed cult members. He gently touched his chest as he closed his eyes since he didn't want to look at their hopeful eyes that they could get to salvation. 'It hurts.' he thought as he saw his siblings looked at him in pity, his mother looked proud while his father stares blankly at the boy with no interest.
'I want to leave.'
He thought repeatedly as he clutches his hands harshly, he gave out fake smiles and blessings once the sermon ended. "Dul, I've noticed you've had a blank look lately." He stared up at the priest, his red lip smeared and his clothes hung off his body. "Ah... Is that so." He mumbled as he leaned against the wall. "You aren't planning anything, are you?" Dul stayed silent as he shook his head. "It's not like I could leave." The priest smiled as he turned to the teen. "That's right."
"You can't."
Dul sighed gently as he laid on his side, everything felt bleak while his family continued as nothing happened. His siblings let it continued, his mother let it as well, and his father... He could've cared less. In the old man's mind, he already had three sons, two that looked like him and one that looked like his wife to which he adored while having two girls, so why would he want another child? He sighed deeply as he stared at the branding on the back of his hand.
