Normally, Minki would've said no to meeting his father again, he hated his father but the thought of him not meeting his granddaughter before he died wasn't something he wanted on his mind. As much as he knew he didn't have to give him that pleasure, he was still his father. Plus, he can't do anything. He was bed-bound and dying so it was going to be easy to keep the man away if he decided to hunt him down.

And if his siblings tried to take him back, well, his gaze turned to a sleeping Inhyuk who was hugging Jieun as they slept the morning away. He let out a silent chuckle before removing himself from the bed and walking outside, maybe smoke before heading to the hospital. "Ujin!" He looked over to see Yeong-gi, his eyes widened as he saw a younger version of his brother for a mere second before he was shoved into the darkened halls. "What is it?"

The younger covered his mouth before looking out over the corner. "Stay calm, please stay calm." He pleaded as he looked stressed and guilty. "He knows. He fucking knows you're here, Minki." He was scared, Yeong-gi didn't want to repeat his mistake or have to witness such things happen again. "Fucking Aeri. She told mom you're here, but when we all scolded her for it she threw a tantrum and told everyone you're here." Minki's heart dropped.

"Are they looking for me? Right now?" Yeong-gi nodded as he could feel the other shake. "Fuck." He muttered under his breath. "Okay, this is fine. I'll just head over to see him and then I'll leave. Quick and easy." Yeong-gi frowned seeing the fear set in the male's face, he needed to change the topic. Quick.

"Oh, Minjun wanted to see you." A shiver fell through Minki's spine. "Did he now." He had a dissatisfied look as his younger brother frowned, another topic. Hurry. "You... You never talk about it," he squatted down to the floor hugging his knees. "Your throat. How did it happen?" Crap, why did he ask that? Another topic-

The air was tense.

"I always thought it was Jaesung who did it. He was always violent." Stop, stop talking. You might trigger him-

"He..." Minki sighed as he ran his finger through his hair. What are you trying to say? Did he actually... "He was only like that because of how mother treated him... He never hurt me. He wouldn't." The purplette brushed his fingers against his scarred throat.  Was he in denial? Minki saw the look. "Jaesung... Yes, he was violent... But he never laid a hand against me... He didn't do this." There was a pause.

"Then who?"

"Minjun and father." Yeong-gi's eyes widened as he stared up at the older. "Minjun?" He whispered confused as he stared, he wasn't lying. Minki never lies. "Wh- why? Minjun would never- no, but he's too kind to do that." He didn't mean to be dismissive, it was just shocking to him. "You do know that father adores Minjun. Minjun adores him, he'd do anything for him," the was silence. "At some point, he did really care for me as Jaesung does. I miss it." He muttered under his breath.

"Why the hell am I telling you this? You fucked up as well... Well, I guess it doesn't matter what you do, does it?" He muttered both upset and confused. Yeong-gi stood up. "You love me." Yeong-gi eyes widened seeing the small jolt. A disbelief laugh left the younger's lips. "You... You still love me... Even after everything I did?" Minki bit the inside of his cheek. "You... I... You have no idea." The rage that built up for a year flooded through his veins.

He felt so betrayed.

He had taken care of the twins since they were born, he remembered how disgusted his mother looked as she stared down at the two bundles. It was always known she hated having kids after Ujin was born. He was defective and that made her think her next kids were going to be as well.
