(Sorry i missed a day, to make up for it i have lots of parts today :3)
Elizabeth's POV:
So apparently there's this party going on at the castle today.
Birthday stuff i guess.
I wasn't actually there though.
I was helping Varian in his 'new lab' to decipher Demanitus' scroll.
He was very excited when Rapunzel assigned this job to him.
We had already finished that so now we were just hanging out.
"The results are in. Who will win first prize for best metal?" Varian said.
I wasn't sure what he was doing but i didn't question him.
"Will it be steel for its durability and thermal conductivity or iron for its lustrous shine and high melting point?"
He made a drum roll sound.
Suddenly Ruddiger and Athena walked over.
Ruddiger was carrying two cups of hot coca.
"Ah, yes, thank you, Ruddiger. This is perfect." Varian said, doing a fake evil laugh.
"Warm cocoa will really hit the spot. Thanks, bud."
A few minutes later Rapunzel, Eugene, and Lance walked in.
"Hi guys!" Rapunzel said.
"Hi! Hi." Varian said nervously.
"I, uh, wasn't, uh, expecting you so soon. I mean, we did agree that I'd need at least five weeks of solitude to decipher this thing, so I thought I had some-some privacy."
Lance pointed over to me.
"Then why was she here? Don't tell me the rules don't apply to her just cause she's your girlfriend" he asked.
"What!? Oh! No no no!" Varian said "you're forgetting she's also my assistant, so i need her help with some stuff"
"What stuff?" Lance asked.
"Grabbing stuff he left at his house, making sure he doesn't pass out, keeping the animals from making a mess-" i listed off.
"Ok ok" lance said.
"That and he's teaching me how to read and write in saporian" i said.
"Hey, Goggles, real quick. Do you have any anti-aging alchemies, maybe some skin-tightening serum?" Eugene asked.
He went to pick up a vial and before i could stop him the stuff made a smoke cloud in his face.
"I'm getting older by the second." He said, now a much older version of himself.
There was some laughter in the room.
"Hey! Please be careful. That stuff is very delicate." Varian said.
"Oh, thank goodness. You have the scroll." Rapunzel said.
"We do. Oh, we do. And it took awhile, but we composed this key to translate the text in its entirety." Varian said, pointing at the wall.
"Guys! That's great! What's it say?" Rapunzel asked.
Varian pointed at the scroll.
"This is the healing incantation, this is the decay incantation and this, oh-ho, is a third incantation." He said "It would allow whoever possesses the MoonStone to wield complete control over the black rocks."
