Varian's POV:
We were almost to the top of the stairs when Cass spoke almost out of nowhere.
"And then what?" She asked, nobody was there and i hadn't said anything.
Weird...
"Who is she talking to?"
"Look, I know none of this is your fault. And I don't want to hurt you. So when Rapunzel comes for you, don't try anything foolish." She explained once we reached the top.
She got rid of my cuffs.
"Cassandra, your angry, i get it" i said "believe me i know what it's like, but you are making a mistake"
I sighed.
The path of hate is a dangerous track
You take one step and it's hard to turn back
It pulls you along
And though it seems wrong
It feels right
Why i started singing?
Don't ask, but i can tell you that part was not easy to admit.
Why did i keep that truth serum anyway?

The path i'm on is a path paved in black
