Elizabeth's POV:

Varian's starting to get really sick after he had that truth serum used on him.

He said the effects might last a few weeks.

But i was not waiting that long.

The animals (Ruddiger and Athena) and i were getting worried.

And even Quirin was concerned mentioning that he had never gotten sick like this before.

I pulled out the recipe for the antidote.

This won't take to long.

I hope...

I walked into Varian's room.

He was fast asleep.

He seemed fine at first but i'm telling you once he went to sleep he was out like a light.

I covered him up and laid a towel on his forehead.

Hopefully that helps a little bit.

He's been getting feverish so hopefully i'm able to fix this soon.

I looked at the list of ingredients.

□ 1/2 cup Healing Serum
□ 4 modified drops of Xavier's mood potion

How am i supposed to-

Oh there's steps

How to modify Xavier's mood potion:

□ 6 drops of mood potion
□ 3 drops of influence serum
□ 4 drops of headache serum

You can definitely tell he first made this serum when he was a villan.

Oh, he left a note on the back

I know the ingredients in the modified mood potion sound bad but it won't be once you add the healing serum, good luck

~Varian ♡

I laughed a little at how he went out of his way to tell me it wouldn't be bad.

Well...guess i'm heading to Xavier's.

"Ok guys" i turned to Ruddiger and Athena "i'm gonna be out for a while, i'm heading up to the city, i'm entrusting both of you to watch over Varian and make sure he gets some rest."

I handed Ruddiger a list of stuff they needed to do.

"Bye, i'll be back in a couple hours" i said.

Later

"Hey Xavier?" I think i startled him a little.

"Sorry" i said.

"It's alright, what is it you have come here for Elizabeth?" He asked.

"Please, don't..." i said, i didn't like being called by my full name.

Simple explanation, my name was one that my birth mother picked out and she abandoned me at an age that i couldn't remember her face.

"Oh, my apologies" he said.

"No worries, hey, you don't by any chance have any of your mood potion do you? I need it for something" i asked.

"Of course, but be very careful with it, it can be dangerous if messed with the wrong way" he said, handing me a bottle of the mood potion.

"Thank you so much, Xavier, i'll be careful with it i promise! Have a nice day" i said.

Back at Varian's house

When i got back to Varian's house nobody was around.

I got nervous.

I walked up to Varian's room again to see if he was ok.

He seemed fine...

Well....you know what i mean.

Ruddiger and Athena were in the room with him acting like little nurses which made me laugh a little bit.

He must have woken up at some point because his arm was positioned differently and there was an empty glass and plate on his bedside table.

I walked down to Varian's lab which had all the stuff i would need.

This may take me a while.

Luckily Varian is starting to use labels more so i wouldn't need to ask what was what...

But i guess it's also unlucky considering that labeling the truth serum got us into this mess.

"Ok, 3 drops of this, 4 drops of that" i said as i finished up the modified mood potion, or i guess technically that was the recipe for the actual truth serum.

Varian makes his different serums surprisingly easy to make an antidote for.

You just add the right amount of healing serum to it.

Luckily, due to how much we always needed, we had an entire shelf full of it.

Once i finally got it right i poured the antidote into an empty vial, the same shape and size as what the truth serum was in.

Just so i knew i gave him the right amount.

He had to drink as much of the antidote as he did the actual serum in order for it to take effect.

That ment the whole bottle.

I walked up to his room.

He was still asleep.

"Hey..." i shook him a little "Varian"

He opened his eyes and looked at me with a weak smile.

"Hi" he said.

"Look what i have" i held up the antidote.

He sat up to grab it but winced in pain.

"No, no, lay back down" i said laying him back down.

"Open up" i said, taking the cap off the bottle.

I held up his head to where i could make sure he didn't choke or anything.

He parted his lips just enough for me to be able to pour it into his mouth.

Then he sat up again.

"Better?" I asked.

He rubbed his head a few times.

"Much better" he said with a smile.

I sat next to him on the bed and he kissed me.

"We're going to have to make this up to the others later" he laughed.

"I know" i said, grabbing his shirt collar and pulling him into another kiss.
