Riley's POV

I sat in this room for what felt like days. My dad came in and let me have both arms. Not that that's very helpful right now but at least I'm not completely tied to a chair anymore. Suddenly I hear something in my ear. "Riley! Come in Riley!" Bozer says. I turn my microphone part of the coms on. "Boz." I whisper trying not to let my dad hear. "Riley! Oh my god!" Mac says. "Mac. Mac please watch your back. Please!" I whisper. "What do you mean?" Mac asks. "Mac my dad wants to kill you in hopes that Mia will run to him." I whisper. "Okay Riles listen Jack and I are in San Francisco headed to your location. Do you have any idea where you are or what your surroundings are?" Mac asks. "I don't know they chloroformed me and put me in a concrete room with a single lightbulb and a table." I whisper. "Okay so probably underground. There it is." Mac says. I hear him open a wooden door through coms and a lot of gunshots. I mute myself and pray that Mac doesn't get himself killed.

Mac's POV

We see an abandoned wooden cabin thing ahead of us. Jack and I carefully approach. I open the door and much to my dismay there are two guards fully armed. Jack and I fight them and eventually we knock them both unconscious. Jack ties them up and we keep moving. We get down stairs and right outside the room they are probably keeping Riley in we find her dad. Jack grabs him and pins him against the wall. "Why did you do it?! Why did you take her?!? I shoulda done this when I had the chance." Jack says. Next thing I know her dad is on the ground with a bullet in his chest. I pick the lock on the door and find Riley in the middle of the room. She is not in good shape. She has blood all over her from head to toe. I rush over to her and frantically start untying her, her dad must have just knocked her out again. I start gently trying to wake her. After that proves nearly impossible we just decide to carry her back to the jet. Once we are in the jet I start trying to clean her up. She had about 4 cuts on both legs, blood coming from her nose and several bruises all over. I gently try waking her up and her eyes slowly open.

Riley's POV

My dad came in and next thing I knew I was out again. I wake up but I'm not tied up. I slowly open my eyes and see Mac staring at me. "Mac? Mac!" I say. "Riles. Thank god your okay." He says. I slowly sit up and realize we are in the jet. "What happened? Please tell me you got my dad." I say. If he escaped we are all in big trouble. "I got him. He isn't alive but the important part is your safe." Jack says. "Thanks Jack." I say. He gently hugs me and Mac motions for me to sit next to him. He puts one arm around me and hands me a blanket. I lay my head on his shoulder and I end up falling asleep. Once we get back to the Phoenix Jack, Mac, and I walk in. Everyone looks at me happy knowing I'm not dead. "Welcome home Riley." Matty says. Jack, Mac, and I head home and we come up with a plan. First Jack and Mac walked in looking defeated. My mom and Mia are sitting on the couch faced away from me. I walk in and sit facing them. "Riley!" Mia says hugging me crying. "Mia. I missed you so much. I'm so sorry you had to go through that." I say. My mom just hugs me and smiles. After we catch up on what happened Jack and my mom head home and Mia heads to bed knowing I'm okay. Mac and I were sitting on the couch watching a horror movie. Mac hates horror movies but wanted to watch one because he knew I liked them. Eventually I stop hearing him react to the scary parts so I look at him. "You aren't watching the movie are you?" I say. "No honestly I'm just glad I have you." He says. "I hated knowing that you and Mia had to go through that. It killed me having to watch that on the laptop he had." I say. "I knew something didn't feel right. You never had that dark of feelings. Anyway I'm just glad your home and we can spend time together." Mac says. We stare at each other for a minute then we kiss. I missed this feeling. The feeling of fireworks going off every time we kiss or when we hold hands. I missed him. I missed the one person who makes me feel like no one else. I missed Angus MacGyver.
