Tamia pov
So its been a few weeks and i havent told anyone yet but...i think im pregnant. I dont know how my mom or Nick will take it but it is what it is. Im thinking about my options and decisions right now because i have goals i want to achieve but i can't with a baby. I took 3 tests and they all said positive. Ive been feeling sick and i haven't been eating right so thats my assumption. I need to find out for sure before i tell anyone.
Its still early so I think im gonna get something to eat. Im not hungry but i need food. I walked to this breakfast shop thats down the street from my house. I walked in a looked around for something for me and my mom. "Hi what can i get you today?" This girl asked me. "Uhh can i get a sausage,egg, & cheese biscuit with a orange juice and a blueberry muffin with a lemonade?" I said. "You sure can. Is that all for you?" She said. "Yes" i said pulling out my wallet and pulling out a $20 bill. "12.63" the lady said. I gave her the $20 & waited. I started feeling sick again so i went to the bathroom and just sat in there for about 3 minutes. I went back out to get the food and i rushed home. I opened the door and seen my mom sitting in the kitchen with the laptop. "Hey ma" i said sitting the food down. "Hey. You okay? You look sick." She said. "Yeah im fine... i got breakfast." I said trying to smile. "Thanks sweety. You wanna get your nails done with later?" She asked. I never turned that down so it was weird this time. "Nah i dont feel good. Ill go next time" i said taking my muffin out the bag. "Okay. You sure you okay?" She asked again. "Yeah im fine" i said. I was getting irritated so i went upstairs and took a shower. Everything got blurry and i just blacked out....
Deshae pov
I woke up with this headache then looked at my phone. It was 11:15. August had texted me asking if i was okay from last night and I told him everything was fine. I got up to make myself something to eat so i could take something for this headache. I opened the fridge and pulles out the cream cheese so i could eat a bagel. My mom came down and hopped on the computer. "Hey Shae, who's your new friend Alexis was telling me about?" She asked me. Alexis got a big mouth. "Its just a friend ma" i said putting my bagel in the toaster. "Mhmm" she said scrolling down the computer. Just then her phone rang. "Omg is she okay?!" My mom said covering her mouth and standing up. "We on our way!" She said hanging up. "What happened?" I said getting worried. "We gotta go to the emergency room. Tamia's mom found her layed out on the floor." She said running up the stairs as i went behind her. I got scared and i ran upstairs to throw on my sweatpants and uggs.
1 hour later
We sitting in the waiting room waiting for Tamias mom to come tell us whats going on. Nick came in and you could tell he rushed to get here. "Anything yet?" He said standing there breathing heavily. "Not yet" i said shaking my head and looking down at the floor. Just then, the doctor came out and told us we could go back. Nick rushed back and we followed. When we got in the room, Tamias mom was leaned over with her hands covering her face. We walked over and Tamia just layed there sleeping. "Ma what's wrong? " Nick asked Tamias mom. She lifted up slowly and wiped her nose. "Shes pregnant." She said. We all looked at Nick and my mouth dropped. Not Tamia. I couldnt believe it. The doctor came back in with sonograms. We just watched speechless. Yup. She sure was pregnant. "Shes 6 weeks" the doctor said. Nick rubbed his hand over his head then sat down in the chair and stared straight ahead. Just then, Tamia started squirming then woke up. "What happened? " She said looking around. "Why didn't you tell me you were pregnant?" Her mom said. She shook her head and looked away. "Im sorry mom. I wasn't sure and i didnt want to tell anyone until I was sure." She said. "So you keeping it?" Nick interrupted. You could tell Tamia was a little surprised because her whole face changed. "Are you trying to give me hints? I can get rid of it if you want to act like i did this to myself but id rather not." She said getting upset. My mom walked out into the hallway and i followed. "We gotta give them some time to work things out. We can come back" she said. I nodded and we left the hospital.
Nick pov
I know i got Tamia pregnant but we only in high school about to be seniors. I got goals. I cant take care of no child right now but i would love to have a baby with my girlfriend in the future when we stable.
"Im sorry bae. I just want us to be in a good place in our lives, not just have a good relationship. I want a baby with you but not right now. If i have to, ill do whatever it takes but im just giving you some insight." I said. I could tell she was still mad because she was breathing heavy and looking away instead of at me. Her mom had left to get some snacks from the vending machine. "Ok" she said finally looking at me. I walked over and sat in a chair across the room. "Why you all the way over there?" She said. "I thought you was salty." I said scooting the chair closer to her bed. Her mom came back in eating some doritos. "You okay now? " she asked Tamia. Tamia nodded. "Well im tired so im going home. Ill see you tomorrow morning." She said walking over and kissing Tamia's forehead then hugging me. "Bye ma" Tamia said as she grabbed her purse and left. "You staying with me." Tamia said when her mom left. "No im going home. Who you think you are." I said playing around and standing up acting like i was leaving. "Babbeee noo come back" she said in a baby voice and pouting. I laughed. "I aint leaving you big baby" i said walking back over and snatching her blanket and putting it across me. "Stooopp!! Its cold as Alaska!" She said trying to snatch the covers back. I stood up and layed next to her and put the blanket over us. "They really need to upgrade with these hospital gowns" i said making her laugh. "Why?" She asked. I grabbed her butt through the gown and she screamed. I laughed then wrapped my arm around her until we fell asleep.
August pov
So me and Deshae been getting closer and i can honestly say she is the best. Her personality, looks, smile, everything is perfect to me. Im taking her out again tomorrow cause i havent seen her in a week. I wanted to give her some time to herself so i wont seem so attached and annoying. She told me she thought we would be a cute couple but she needed to fix herself first and i cant wait for our date cause i wanna show her that theres nothing to fix. I talked to her earlier but she was at the hospital for her friend so ill just let her text me when she ready.
My ex had came over but nothing happened. I just told her about Deshae and she seemed happy for me. I dont know what got into her but i got my eyes on her.
