Tavin pov 2: 45 pm (after school)
I been tryna talk to Deshae but lately she been seeming so stressed out and depressed. Same with Desmond. I havent been seeing them in school either. I felt bad so after school I decided to go to Deshae house. I threw on some sweats and my last kings tshirt then i caught the bus to her house. I didn't see her mom's car so I went up and knocked. It took about 5 minutes so I sat on the steps until she came. I heard the door open slowly and I turned around. "Hey." She said. She looked so tired. I didn't even say anything. I just got up and hugged her for about a minute or two. After that, she grabbed my hand and led me to the couch. "How you been?" I asked her. "Just stressed." she said not looking at me. "About what? You know you can tell me everything," I told her. She let out a huge sigh still not looking at me. "Alexis lost the baby." I could tell she was tore up. She looked like all her emotions were just sucked out of her body. Now I know why I havent seen Desmond. "Damn im sorry. I didnt know about any of this," I said to her. "If you need me im here. Dont ever hesitate to ask for anything. I want you to be happy." I said rubbing her hand then grabbing her from the side and hugging her. "You heard from Desmond? " I asked her. "Yeah he's just in a bad place right now and he's trying to comfort Alexis. " she said. I nodded.

I wanted to ask Tavin about our friendship going further but I didnt want him to take my pain as me trying to pressure him into it. Maybe later. He made me feel alot better though.
We watched some tv and we talked about what colors we wanted to do for prom.
4:45 pm
"My mom should be home soon so I guess ill talk to you later." I told him standing up. "Yeah, you coming to school tomorrow?" He asked standing up as well. "Most likely. My mom wont let me stay in another day." I said laughing a little. "Well okay, ill see you then. Call me later." He said smiling and walking towards the door. "I will." I said opening the door." He was walking out then turned around and kissed me. "I didnt know what to say because that didnt happen in awhile. I smiled and waved bye as he walked away. He does all this but wont make me his girlfriend. Why? I called Tamia and told her to come over. Shes the only one that really knows how im feeling.
Lauren pov
I havent heard from Desmond in a long time. I wonder whats going on. I tried calling but it went straight to voicemail. I dont live far from him so I decided to go to his house and see what was up. *knock knock*
5 minutes pass
*knock knock
Whats taking him so long? I went around the back an seen his light was off. Hm. Where is he? I went back to the front and sat on the steps.
20 minutes pass
Desmond pulled and got out the car. "Hey, where you been?" I asked him. He ignored me and started opening the door to his house. I tried to squeeze in. "Desmond!!" I yelled as he tried to close the door. "Lauren leave me the fuck alone! Im not in the mood! !" He yelled and slammed the door. I just froze and walked off. I wonder what happened. Maybe him and Alexis broke up. Hm. Time for me to experiment.
When I got home I called Tavin. "Hello..." he said sounding exhausted. "Hey, can we talk?" I said. "Lauren you got 5 minutes. " he said. " I just wanna say im sorry..." I started slowly " 4 minutes" he cut me off. "Tavin that was not a minute!" I said getting upset. * click* he hung up. I'm so tired of his smart ass.
Desmond pov
Lauren gettin on my nerves. I cant wait for Alexis to get better so she can beat her ass. I been so depressed and irritated lately. I lost my baby girl, how else am I supposed to feel. I havent slept in almost 3 days. I been giving Alexis and her mom some time together since they both upset and all. I just want my baby fr fr so I called her.
Lex : Hello?
Me: Baby you feeling better?
Lex: A little better than before. I miss you
Me: I miss you too bae. Where mommy at?
Lex : Well we at the store. She right here
Me: Tell her I said hey and I love her lol
Lex : lol she said hey and she loves you too, you coming over for dinner?
Me: Heeellll yeaaa lol
Lex: you so silly babe. Well ill call you when we get back home.
Me: ard bae love you
Lex: love you too
*click*
I took a shower and put on my nike sweatshirt and some jeans. Then on threw on my nikes to match my sweatshirt. About 45 minutes later, Alexis was calling me to come over. I grabbed my keys and left. *ring ring* it was my mom. "Hello?" I said putting it on speaker. "Hey baby, where you at?" She asked. "Im rey eay dinner at Lex house, why whats wrong?" Oh nothing." She said. "What you need ma?" I asked. "Nothing baby im fine." She said. " Meet me at Lex house." I told her. She agreed and we hung up. I texted Alexis to let her know my mom was coming too.
20 mins later
We talked about he baby and all that but it felt good letting it all out. I texted Tavin cause I know he was looking for me.
Me: Yoo
Tav: Aye dummy, where you been
Me: Man stressed
Tav: I feel you man. I felt the same way when my lil sister died. She still here man. Dont be stressed.
Me : thanks yo, I appreciate it. I really do.
Tav: you know I gotchu. Ya peanut head ass shouldve let me know where you was. I aint know what happened.
Me: lls my bad man. How you find out?
Tav: Deshae told me. She was tore up too so I had to check on her and see what was up.
Me: Ohard. Yeah man im over Lex house now, so ima call you when I leave.

This food was on point. They made some barbecue chicken, macaroni, & sweet potatoes. I had like 4 plates. We just ate and watched Divergent. Me and Lex seen it, well kind of. We wasnt really watching it . But it was cool. Alexis was laid out on me sleep while everybody else was watching the movie. I smiled at her then rested my head back. "Girl he is fiiiine !!" My mom said to Alexis mom laughing and giving her a high five. They too much.
