August pov
I had a good time with Kiya last night but now it's time for me to go back to my baby mama. It was still early and I know she not up yet so I can slip in the bed next to her.
"Stop pouting, I'll be back" I said to Kiya who was watching me get dressed.
"I know but I want you to stay"
"You know I can't. Gimme kiss, I'll see you later ." After getting a kiss from Kiya I was off to Deshae.

I crept into the house and went to the room to see that Deshae wasn't there. I called for her and I got no answer. I looked around and realized her stuff was gone and it was a note on the bed.

I dropped the note and started packing my bags.
10 minutes later
"What you doing back here? I thought you had to be home?" Kiya said.
"Nah I changed my mind. " I said sitting my bags down by the door.

"Nah I think ima stay in. You can go though" I said nonchalantly. I wasn't really in the mood to do anything. I'm just ready to take my ass home. She sighed and went back in the kitchen coming back with 2 plates.
"Thanks" I said as she handed me my plate.
Deshae pov
I grabbed my bags and made sure to drop a note for August. I'm through. I don't think running to Tavin is any better but I need his help right now.
"You okay?" He said as I got into his car with my bags.
"Yeah. Let's go." I said wiping tears away and taking another look at the hotel.
It was silent for awhile until Tavin turned on the radio.
"Thanks" I said.
"No problem. You could've turned it on" he said giggling a little.
"No not that. Thanks for taking your time to help me and get me back home." I smiled.
"Deshae you know I hate seeing you hurt. I'm here. No matter what we went through, I'm here. All that happened was my fault. Not yours." He said. I nodded and we drove the rest of the way listening to the music bump through the speakers.
Hour later
"Hey, you hungry?" Tavin asked lightly tapping me causing me to wake up from my nap. I was confused on where I was for a minute.
"Yeah" I said smiling.
"Gotchu" he said turning his attention back to the road.
My phone was ringing off the hook and I knew who it was. I put my phone on sleep mode then rested my head back on the seat. Tavin ended up getting me Sonic because that's my favorite fast food place.
"Awww you remembered, thank you " I said smiling.
"I can't forget" he said smiling back.
Not too long after we sat at a drive in movie and ate junk.
"Can I ask you a question?" I asked him.
"Yea wassup?" Tavin said biting a twizler.
"What happened to Bria?" I can tell it wasn't so good because his whole face changed and he looked down.
"You don't have to talk about it" I said feeling guilty for asking.
"Oh nah it's cool. Uh... She cheated on me with one of her old friends." He said finally looking up at me.
"I'm sorry" I said looking away.
"Nah I'm good" he said smiling a little.
We talked a little more about what's been going on and then we were back into the movie. I have to say, this made me realize why I was so interested in Tavin in the beginning. He hurt me and I hated him but I couldn't help but watch him every other second.
"What?" He said giggling after catching me staring.
"Nothing" I said smiling and looking away. He grabbed my face and kissed me and I could tell he missed it. This was the feeling I had been looking for.
"Tavin wait..." I said pulling away.
"What's wrong?" He said letting go.
"I just think it's too soon to jump back into this." He nodded but I could tell he was a little hurt. "Don't feel like I'm rejecting you. I just... I wanna make sure it's right this time." I added.
"Of course. It's cool." He said before silence filled the car.
"You ready to go home?" He asked looking from the screen to me.
"You tryna get rid of me already?" I said putting my hand over my chest dramatically. We both laughed and he shook his head.
"Nah I just don't want you to go over your bedtime.
"Boy whatever" I said holding up my hand. I never thought I would be in this moment with him.
Rico pov
"Lex come onnn." I said to Alexis who was taking forever to pick a pair of shoes.
"Okay okay I'm coming" she said still holding both shoes.
"Which one you getting?" I said grabbing one pair.
