Nick pov
So im on my way back from New York and i planned to surprise Tamia by meeting up with her and everybody else. We all decided to meet up at Deshae house then go to this new fancy restaurant from there. Nobody knew i was coming home today except me and my dad. We arrived in front of my house and i looked at my dad and smiled and he returned the smile. I reached over and honked the horn a couple times until i seen my front door open and my mom run out with a robe on and her hair tied up. "MY BABY IS HOMEEE !!!" She screamed running towards the car and opening my door basically tackling me. I attempted to stand up as she held on to me and we hugged for about 5 minutes. " Omg i missed you so much" she said wiping tears from her eyes. My dad watched us with one hand on the hood of the car. I kissed my mom on the cheek and walked over to hug my dad. "Thank you" i whispered. He nodded and helped get my bags out the trunk. "Thanks but i gotta get going" my dad said. It seemed like something was bothering him. "Dad" i said stopping him. "Can we hang out today just for a little bit? I wanna get a nice suit for this dinner with Tamia and my friends so i just need a man's opinion too." He paused and a smile appeared on his face. "Of course son. I would love to" he said looking at my mom for confirmation. We did a group hug and i went to freshen up as my mom and dad conversed downstairs.
A couple hours later
I texted everyone except Tamia since I didnt want her to know i was back yet. We agreed to meet up around 6:00. I brushed my hair one last time and me, my mom and dad were out to find my suit. "How about white?" My mom said holding up a suit with a unsure look on her face. I smiled because i knew she liked it and i wanted her to be happy. I looked at my dad who had that "yea thats the one" look on his face. I grabbed it along with a couple more suits my dad had in his hand and went in the fitting room to try them on. I came out and my mom pulled out her phone to take a picture. "Dont be posting on Facebook mom" i said laughing causing her to laugh too. The last thing i need is Tamia finding out im back. I tried on the other two and we decided on the all white one. I was spiffy. My phone started ringing and it was Tamia. "Hey baby" i said picking up and smiling at my parents then walking back into the dressing room. "Wyd" she said plainly. "Chillin, wyd big booty" i said causing her to giggle. "Laying down waiting for 7:00 so i can go out with Deshae." She said. I smirked because i set the whole thing up. "Ohard. Yall having a girls night. Make sure you send me some pictures" i said changing my clothes while putting my phone on speaker. Her emotional ass gonna have a fit when she see me. I know her belly got bigger so its gonna be crazy seeing her like that.
Deshae pov
So everybody is meeting here at my house including August so im just waiting for them to all arrive. I curled my hair then pin curled it and sat around until someone came. Nick was the first one and he came earlier than i thought. It was only 5:30. "Hey" i said closing the door behind him. "Aww look at you looking all classy" i said admiring his suit. "Well you know" he said popping his collar. I laughed and offered him something to drink. We sat around and talked and it was 6:15 but nobody was here yet. "Damn where everybody at" i said checking my phone. "They prolly coming. We still got some time" Nick said. We sat and sat and no one called. It got quiet and the tv shows were getting boring. My phone rang and it was Tamia. " hey girl ima be a little late cause i overslept so is 8 fine?" She asked. "Uhh...yea" i said looking at Nick who then looked at me. "Thanks girlie. See you then" she said. I told Nick the news and he decided to just chill until then. I texted August and told him also as well as Alexis and Desmond. We were watching Drake and Josh when i felt someone touch my hand and no one was there but me and Nick soooo it wasnt a ghost and it wasnt me. I slowly looked over at Nick who tried not to look at me then turned my attention back to the tv. All of a sudden i was on him and his hands were on my butt. We were kissing when i realized who he was and what was going on. My hormones have been wild because i havent seen August since i met his mom. We just talked on the phone. "Omg" i said getting up quickly and rushing upstairs. What did i just do? Thats my bestfriends' boyfriend! Her baby daddy! I cant tell her about this. Nick knocked on the door lightly and i stopped and allowed him to come in. "Um. Im... im sorry. I... i dont know... what that was" he said stuttering. I ran my hands through my curls and reapplied my lipstick. "We cant tell Tamia. At least not tonight." I said panicking and shaking. "No... no way." He said. Just then the doorbell rang and i ran to see who it was. "Haaaay boo!" Alexis said walking in with Desmond behind her looking sharp as well. Then Nick came walking down the stairs wiping his lips. Desmond and Alexis looked at us awkwardly and i looked away. "Ok im gonna ignore that" Alexis said laughing it off. August came shortly after and it was almost 8 so we got ready to meet up at the restaurant. I hope this dinner isnt weird after what just happened. When we got there, Nick went into the bathroom until Tamia came so he could surprise her while we got our table. We all just talked and laughed, well them mostly, while we waited for her. "You iight?" August whispered to me. "Yeah. Yeah im fine" i said flashing a fake smile. I guess Alexis noticed because she told me to meet her in the bathroom. I did as i was told trying to hide my trembling hands. "Everything okay? You acting weird." She said looking me up and down. "Im fine Lex" i said. "Did something happen at your house?" I felt my eyes getting heavy so i went and closed the door to one of the stalls. "Ill meet you out there" i said changing the subject then holding my sobs until she left. After a few minutes i fixed my makeup and went back out just in time to see Tamia wobbling in. "Baaabbiiessss" she said smiling big looking flawless as usual. August stood up which was the cue for Nick to come out. He walked out and i already had my phone out for a video and so did Alexis and Desmond. "What yall doing" Tamia said clueless as Nick stood behind her while she scanned her menu. "Where the waiter at?" She said fixing her hair then picking up her phone to turn on the front camera. "Damn he all up on- OMGGG!!!!" Tamia said turning around finally seeing Nick. We all laughed and she started crying causing me to cry too. Nick even shed some tears. They held each other and she let out loud sobs with her face buried in Nicks jacket. After the long hold, they sat down and Nick gave her some gifts he got from New York. I was happy to see my girl happy but i felt bad for earlier. Maybe i can keep this between me and Nick.
August pov
Deshae wasnt being herself but i learned alot about her so ima wait for everything to come out later on. It was nice coming out for this event. I love Nick and Tamia relationship. "Babe im just wanna say i love you sooooo much like words cant even explain how much. Im glad im having this baby boy by you and i couldnt and wouldnt ask for anyone else to have him by. Your my soulmate. I know we're young and anything could happen but nothing is gonna break us apart" Tamia said with tears escaping her eyes. Nick leaned over and kissed her and we all clapped and awed at how cute they were. I leaned over and kissed Deshae and she looked at me and smiled doing the same thing. We talked and talked for about four hours and split up after congratulating Nick and Tamia. "You staying with me?" I said pouting my lip out to Deshae. She grabbed my face. "Yes babe" she said half asleep with a smile on her face. I smiled and started up the car letting the music play softly. When we got to my house, Deshae was sleep and i picked her up carefully carrying her to my room and putting one of my tshirts on her. I kissed her then hopped in the shower . Shortly after, i slipped on my boxers and my polo pajama pants then slid in the bed next to Deshae after kissing her goodnight. "Aug" she said. "Wassup" i said with my eyes clothes. "You know i love you right?" I smiled . " i love you more" i said. She turned over and rested her head on my chest and we fell asleep.
Next day
I woke up and heard Deshae on the phone but i didnt see her. I checked my phone for the time then got up to find her. "Should i tell anybody? " she whispered. I frowned then cleared my throat scaring her. "Heeeyy baby" she said innocently. "I gotta go" she said through the phone. "Whats goin on? " i asked curious but still not fully awake. "Nothing" she said then standing up wrapping her arms around me and looking up for me to kiss her since she was too short. I raised my eyebrow and let go to brush my teeth as she followed. "You ok?" She asked. "Yeah" i said truthfully. She walked out and went into the bedroom. I grabbed my toothbrush and toothpaste and began brushing and watched her flip through the channels on tv through the mirror. I washed my mouth out and layed down next to her grabbing her from her side. "Oww August. Damn." She said in a irritated tone. " You scratched me" "im sowwy" i said grabbing her being more careful this time. I slid one hand down her underwear as she bit my bottom lip. "Come on August i gotta go home." She said trying to pull away. "Ard gimme a hour" i said holding her tighter. She sighed and accepted.
