(Rico, Alexis and Desmond)
Alexis pov
Me and Rico have actually been getting closer since Desmond told me we should take a "break". It doesn't seem like he cares about me anymore but only time will tell. I stayed the night over Rico's house because he said he was bored and so was i, so why not? He was still sleep so i got up to use the bathroom. I fixed my hair a little bit then walked back into the room seeing him scrolling through his phone. "Goodmorning" he said turning his head towards me and smiling. "Goodmorning" i said walking to the bed. "What we doing today?" He said. I put the sheets over me then shrugged. "I just wanna chill today" i said. He nodded and continued scrolling down his phone. I seen him stop scrolling then he sat up and his face looked shocked. "Look" he said showing me his phone. It was a picture of Lauren all on Desmond. When i seen that, my heart stopped, dropped and rolled. I tried not to show i was hurt but Rico saw it and he dropped his phone and held me. I felt my broken pieces come back together. We slowly pulled apart and ended up kissing... a long, sweet, unforgettable kiss too. That kiss led to touching, scratching, hickeys and everything else there is to be left. After that, we had a relaxing conversation like nothing even happened. You might say it's too soon, but this boy, is different. His phone rang and he looked at me then got up and walked downstairs. I shrugged and turned the tv up and started watching Empire. When he came back, he told me he had to go somewhere and he would take me home. "Everything okay?" I asked putting on my pants. "Yeah i just gotta take care of something " he said grabbing the keys. I nodded and we left.
25 minutes later
We pulled up to my house and i grabbed the door handle to get out but he stopped me. "Ill call you later, okay?" He said with a innocent look on his face. I didnt say a word. I just got out and went in the house. When i walked in, my mom was sitting at the table with somebody. Their head was familiar. "Hey baby" my mom said to me. The familiar head turned around and it was Desmond. I dropped my purse ans stood there wondering why the hell he was in my house. "Why the hell you in my house?" I said out loud. My mom got up and grabbed me. "Alexis what ia wrong with you?!" She said. My mom didnt really know too much about what happened between me and him. I looked over and Desmond had his head in his hands then i looked back at my mom. "I wanna know whats going on and i wanna know now!" She said looking at me then Desmond. "He cheated on me!!" I said starting to cry. He lifted his head. " i didnt cheat on you Alexis, we arent even together right now. This is why im here, to talk to you! " he said. I wiped my face and sat down on the steps staring off into space waiting for him to talk. My mom stood there with her hands on her hips looking just as hurt as i did. Desmond stood up. "Yeah i hooked up with somebody but let's not forget why we broke up in the first place. This damn sure aint my fault and you know that." He said. My mom turned to look at me. ''Alexis what the hell is he talking about?" She said getting upset with me. "Look, i invited one of his friends over and told him i couldnt come to his game. Me and his friend didnt do anything but he decided to assume and he stormed out the house after calling me a hoe. I was hurt and his friend was the only one who actually made sure i was okay and we ended up almost... having sex but we didnt. Desmond came over so we could talk and i admitted i kissed his friend so he said we should take a break" I told her. "So why are you upset with him if you actually cheated on him? You're being selfish and wrong. You need to apologize right now and i want this fixed when i come back" she said leaving us and walking upstairs. It was silent for about 20 seconds but i felt Desmond staring a hole in my face. He came and sat next to me on the steps. "Alexis. You know i love you. The only reason i been acting like this is because i was hurt. You chose my best friend over me. How would you feel if i was messing around with Deshae? You wouldnt like that cause you wouldnt want to see no shit like that. So imagine that. Now thats just what i felt." He said. "So what now? You have Lauren. What we working on?" I said remembering the picture of them. He wiped his hand over his curls and looked at me. "Do you wanna fix this? Us?" He said. "Yes. But how you gonna tell Lauren?" I asked. "We just gotta suffer the consequences" he said smiling a little causing me to smile too. "Deal" i said. I didnt mention Rico because we weren't a couple and Desmond didnt need to know what i did while i was "single". Me and him talked a little more to make sure there was no awkwardness between us and there wasn't. My mom told me to let him stay over of course so i did. Nothing happened though. It was a cool night. He wanted to sleep on the couch just until we get back together but i stayed with him until i got tired. "Lex" he said in his sleepy voice and grabbing my arm when I got up. "Yes Dezzy?" I said looking down at him. "You know I love you right?" He said on the verge of falling to sleep. "Yes Dezzy, i love you too. Goodnight" i said watching him slowly drift off then going to bed.
