Senior prom
Deshae pov
So its time to start this day. I woke up and brushed my teeth and washed my face. I put on a simple white shirt with some jeans and some red Toms then sprayed on some perfume. I walked in my mom's room and she was in the shower so I went downstairs and ate some Captain Crunch. She came down a little after I was done and I ran upstairs to grab my purse and phone. We pulled up to the hair salon and it wasn't crowded like it was for my prom. I went in and said my hellos then sat down. I started texting Tavin to see what he was doing and he said he was getting his hair cut. I told him send me a pic after and he told me to send him one too . "You gotta wait until you see me to see mine lol" I said. "Im special too tho so you gotta wait for mine too" he said. I smiled to myself and my hair stylist called me up. I sat in her chair and she worked her magic. It took about 3 hours for her to finish which wasnt too bad. I called my mom to come get me when I was done and I walked to Mcdonalds while I waited for her.
She called me about 30 minutes later and told me she was wwaiting for me. We drove to the mall to get my makeup done at Mac. My phone vibrated as we were walking.

Me: Awww thanks boo :** I will for you lol

I locked my phone and sat down to get my makeup done. "She wants the whole nude look thing" my mom said to the lady. "Gotcha" the lady said smiling and giggling. She started applying the makeup and my phone started ringing. I gave it to my mom to answer it. "Hello?... Hey Tavin she's getting her makeup done... she should be ready by 6 or 7.... ok. Bye."
"What he say?" I asked. "He just wanted to know what time he should come" she said. I nodded a little and finished getting my makeup done. When the lady was done, she gave me the mirror and it looked perfect with my hair. I gave the lady a hug and paid her then we were off to my house to start getting ready. I got another text.

I smiled and locked my phone. We pulled up to my house and ran in to get my dress out the closet. I washed up a little making sure not to mess up my makeup and hair. When I got out, I dried off, put on my underclothes and my mom helped me put my dress on. It was 5:53 & we called up Tavin to tell him I was ready. My mom fixed some of my hair that fell while we waited. "Here" she said handing me this beautiful diamond necklace to go with my dress. "Aw ma this is beautiful. Thank you" I said smiling and hugging her. We heard a knock on the door about 20 minutes later and my mom ran downstairs to open it. "Shaaeee!!" She yelled. I grabbed my heels and walked down the stairs slowly letting my dress drag behind me. I seen Tavin standing there in amazement. I smirked and watched each step so I wouldnt fall. His family and my family were all standing there clapping and he walked over and helped me down the last step. We hugged for a good minute and then took some pictures. He grabbed my hand while everyone was still taking pictures and led me outside to a limo. The driver opened the door and I got in with Tavin right behind me. "Have fun babieesss !!" My mom yelled. We waved to everybody and the driver closed the door behind us. Shortly after, we were off. Me and Tavin took pictures and put them on instagram. When we arrived to the mansion, our mouths dropped. It was huge. Tavin helped me out and we walked in. All eyes were on us. Tavin signed our names and we walked into the big room. We said hi to everybody and I seen Bria with Tavin's friend Tremaine. He said hi to them while I looked around. "You want something to drink?" He asked me. "Yeah" I said. I sat down at a table with some other girls I knew and waited for Tavin to come back. He came back with this strawberry drink and it was good. Awwsome by shy glizzy came on and we got up to dance.
Tavin pov
I was having a good time tonight. Even though this my last time seeing Deshae, I feel pretty good knowing we on good terms and we could get over the issue so quickly. We danced to one more song then sat down to cool off. "Woo my feet killing me" Deshae said. "Take them damn heels off" I said laughing. She say down and took them off then slid them under the chair. "Im about to get us some food. Ill be back" i said getting up and walking over to the food table. I seen Bria and Tremaine talking and laughing but i brushed it off and grabbed a plate for me and Deshae. I went back to the table and sat our plates down. "This looks gross" Deshae said. I laughed and agreed. "We can eat at the after party" I told her. She nodded and we danced some more. She danced with some of her friends and I just danced where the dj was. It was live af. Prom was almost over and they nominated prom king and queen. "And the prom king for seniors 2014 is... Tavin Smith !!!" Deshae screamed and I got up shocked. They put the crown on me and got ready to call prom queen. "And our prom queen for seniors 2014 iss... " they said some other girl I didnt talk to but I knew about her. Everybody clapped for us and we went back to our seats.
Prom was about to be over so we stood outside for 5 minutes until our limo came and took us lazer tagging. We changed our clothes when we got there and put our stuff back in the limo.
When we got in, we typed put names on the screen. Deshae put her name as "Mrs Smith" & mine was "Mr Smith". We watched the video they made and got on our teams. Me and Deshae was on different teams tho. We put on our vest and we went on the room wit our teams. It was time to play and the only thing i was focused on was finding Deshae. I shot some other people too to get to her. When i seen her, I grabbed her from behind and she screamed and giggled. I dragged her in the corner and kissed her passionately. This what I miss. Her lips on mine. The way she accepts it just sends chills down my body. We pulled apart and she smiled and looked in my eyes. "Game over" we looked away and ran back to our bases. The whole game, all I was doing was finding her to get under her skin. "Why you gotta shoot me!!" She yelled laughing. I love irritating her. We returned to our base ending our last game. We went back to take off our vests and grabbed our papers. I had the highest score and we only lost 1 game. "Aahaaa we better" I said sticking my tongue out at Deshae. "Shu the hell up" she said hitting my arm and laughing. I wrapped my arm around her and we walked back to the limo to take her home.

I laughed as Deshae sung along to the song and I sung with her. Tonight was perfect. Just me and her acting goofy. Shortly after we pulled up to her house, i grabbed her dress out the back and I walked her to the door. We stood there for a minute before she spoke. "So this is it" she said looking down and swaying a little. I looked down too and then back up at her. "Yeah i guess" I said. "Well...I hope everything goes well for you" she said smiling. I grabbed her chin and kissed her again. This one was better than the one we had earlier. And it was longer. Our lips parted and I grabbed her and hugged her tightly. When we let go, I seen her eyes watering and i pecked her lips one more time. A tear fell and I wiped it for her. "I love you Deshae" I said. "I love you too Tavin. Dont forget me" she said. I let go of her hand and walked back to the limo. I felt her watching and I waved then closed the door...

When Tavin left, I watched the limo until I could no longer see it. I pulled out my keys to open the door and when I closed it, I slowly slid down the door and let out soft cries. It was dark and the only thng shining was the streetlights through my window. I wiped my tears and picked up my dress off the floor then walked up to my room. I closed the door and went into the bathroom to clean myself up. When I got out, I got in my bed, & just thought about Tavin every way I could. Tonight was the best. Hands down.
