Alexis pov
Im about to pop. This baby been having me tired and im ready to have her. Desmond been staying with me for the last 2 weeks because the baby is due this week but I wanted him to stay a extra week. "So babe what name we going with?" I asked him. "What about Kennedy? You can choose the middle name."he said. " I love that name babe. What about Kennedy Rose Thomas?" I asked him. "That's beautiful babe." he said smiling and kissing my hand. Right when he did that I felt a sharp pain on the right side of my stomach. "Ouuuchh !" I yelled. "You ard bae?" He said looking at me worried. "Yeah I think im fine. "I told him. I decided to take a nap for a hour or so and Desmond said he would be back after he went to get more clothes from his house. I watched a little bit of t.v then went right to sleep.
3:00 am
I started getting these really bad pains up my back and on both side of my stomach. I screamed in pain. "DESMONNNDD!!" I moved the sheet next to me an seen he wasn't there. Where is he?! I screamed. I tried calling him and when I stood up.. WOOSH!! Theres the water. The pain was terrible. I didnt know what to do. My mom works at the hospital so she isnt home right now. I called Desmond twice and he didnt answer. As I was crying and trying to put on my shoes and get my bag, I blacked out....
Desmond pov
I had stayed home a little later than I was supposed to and fell to sleep. I woke up and it was 3:15 am. I checked my phone. Dead. Great. I got up, put on my jacket and left out the door.
When I got back to Alexis house, I opened the door and walked straight to the room. I automatically broke down and tried to get Alexis up off the floor. I picked her up and seen the pile of water. This cant be good. I managed to pick up her two bags while i was holding her bridal style. I ran to the car and put her in the back seat. I got in and sped to the hospital. When I got there, I let it be known that my girl was in serious condition. The nurses rushed out to the car with a wheechair and put her in it. "GET HER TO A ROOM AND GET THIS BABY OUT NOWWW!!" one of the nurses said. I was right by her screaming at the top of my lungs. I want both of my babies taken care of. When they got her to the room, they got the baby out and was trying to get Alexis to wake back up. "WE GOT A PULSE!" the same nurse yelled. I stood there with my eyes tearing up. "Come on baby get up" I said over and over to myself with tears rolling down my face. "Desmond?"...
Deshae pov 4:30 am
I woke up to my ringtone, Wading-jhene aiko. I was so sleepy I didnt even check to see who it was. I just pressed answer. "What?! Im omw!" I jumped out the bed and told my mom to drive me to the hospital. While she was driving me, I called Tamia and told her to meet me there. "Is she ok?" My mom said. "Idk what's going on mom, but Desmond called me panicking. " I told her. She nodded and we pulled up. I jumped out the car with my pajamas on and ran inside. "Alexis Parker?" I asked the lady. "Room 315" she said. I ran back to her room and seen Desmond sitting next to her holding her hand with his head down. "How is she?" I asked. Alexis slowly turned her head and smiled at me. I could tell she was crying. I ran over and hugged her and Desmond. Her mom had walked in with some water. I hugged her too when I seen her. "Wheres the baby?" I asked her looking around. "She didnt make it..." Her mother said. My mouth dropped and tears began falling. Tamia then came in with Nick. "Whats going on?" She said seeing us all in tears. "Wheres the baby?" I shook my head and Alexis started crying harder as Desmond tried to comfort her. Tamia knew right then what happened and she covered her mouth in disbelief and her tears began falling too.
