It took me so long to write this book just because I didn't know how I was gonna end it and I didn't want it to be too similar to other books but it's my first book. It's not the best but I'm lucky I got so many reads and votes on it. Love yall and ask me anything you wanna know ✌🏾️💋💕

I woke up and looked over at the clock. 1:04 pm.I had a big day planned for Deshae just to show her how much I appreciated her. I looked over and seen her sleep and smiled at how beautiful she was even with her scarf on her head and the light snores she let out. I got up running my hands through my hair then went to the bathroom to pee then take a shower. When I was done everything I needed to do, I almost bumped into Deshae who was walking into the bathroom as I was leaving out.
"Good morning babe" I said looking down and kissing her.
"Good morning" she smiled then took of her scarf letting her long hair fall.
"Where you going?" She asked after brushing her teeth as I got dressed.
"Out. Put on something nice." I simply said slipping on my shirt. She nodded and went to the closet pulling out a yellow bodycon dress with spikes on the shoulders.
We were out not too long after and I decided to take her out to eat before we went to Kevin Hart's comedy show. She loved him so I know she would be excited.
"Shit hold up I be back." I said getting out the car and running back into the house. I planned on giving her a promise ring tonight and finally asking her to be my girlfriend. We been so close and this is the best thing for us. I love Avery like she's mine and I couldn't ask for a better life. I dashed back out my house and made my way to the restaurant where I had reservations made.
"This is so nice." Deshae said examining the room and smiling.
"You know you deserve the best. You took me back after all that I put you through and honestly if I was you, I would've probably been like getcho ass out my face" I said making her laugh.
"Well I just had this feeling that I had when I first met you and I know nobody else could give me that feeling so I took that as giving you a second chance & im glad I took that."
We conversed some more until our food came. When we wee done eating and just enjoying desert, I took this as the chance to give her the ring.
"Hey what's that?" I said pointing behind her then sliding the ring across the table.
"What?" She said turning around.
"Oh never mind. I thought I saw a spider." I said playing it off.
"Oh hell no" she said still checking behind her. I smiled at her and used my eyes to direct hers to the ring. She finally caught on and I and gasped then picked it up.
"Awwww baby" she said sticking out her bottom lip. I couldn't help but smile at her reaction. I grabbed her hand.
"Deshae, you've been nothing but a friend, supporter, lover and headache to me" I said laughing causing her to giggle a little.
"And that's why I love you and I want you to officially be my girlfriend." I said getting to the point. She poked her lip out again and nodded, this time standing up and hugging me then giving me small pecks on my lips.
"I would love to be your girlfriend. Thank you" she said holding my face and looking into my eyes. I seriously love this girl.
August pov
Deshae asked me if I could keep Avery for another day and I agreed. I love my daughter so it's no problem. Kiya finally made up her mind on if she wanted to come live with me and she was on her way to the airport. I got ready and got Avery ready as well to go pick her up. She was hesitant at first about moving down here because of her family but I met them and they told her she would be fine.
After I fed Avery, we were on our way to the airport.
1 hour later
"Aug?!" I heard a familiar voice say. I turned and seen Kiya running towards me. I stood up holding onto Avery's stroller and wrapped my free arm around Kiya who basically wrapped herself around me.
"I missed youu" she said kissing all over my face. She hopped down and I kissed her a couple times on her lips.
"Omgg August she is beautiful!" She squealed grabbing Avery's hand.
"Thanks mama. Where you wanna go?" I said watching her play with Avery.
"I don't care I'm just happy to see you" she said laughing. We made our way back to my car and decided to go get ice cream.
"This was a good idea" she said licking her ice cream.
"Yeah this good as hell" I said biting the cone.
"Not this Aug, moving out here. I love it already." She said grabbing my hand.
I smiled. "I got some stuff planned for us tonight" I said raising my eyebrows.
"What you.... Omg. Omg ewww" she laughed lightly hitting me. I laughed and took Avery out of her stroller.
"You know you want it." I said still laughing.
"Whatever. Don't talk like that around her. Cover your ears Avery." She said talking to the baby. I shook my head and waited for her to finish before we left to go home.
"I'm so sleepy. I don't know why" she said yawning.
"You ain't sleep on the plane?" I said strapping Avery back in her stroller.
"Yeah for like a hour or so."
"Well you got time to sleep. I'll lay the pipe later." I said making her choke on her cone.
"August stop." She laughed.
"I'm just stating facts. Letting you know what's goin down." I said holding up my hands.
"Whatever let's go " she said grabbing her purse. She strapped Avery in her car seat and we made our way home.
Home
"Ughhh Aug this house is beautiful." She said looking around.
"Well it's yours too now mama" I said bringing in some of her bags. She took a deep breath and stood there examining the scene for a minute.
"You good?" I asked breaking the silence.
"Yeah. Just thinking." She smiled at me then turned back around.
I started making dinner with the help of Kiya who thought she was on American idol.
"Pass me the pasta" I said. She spun around and grabbed the pasta handing it to me. I stirred the pasta and turned the heat down turning my attention to Kiya who he wrapped her arms around my waist.
"Thank you for letting me move in with you" she said looking deeply into my eyes.
"Ain't no thang but a chicken wang " I said making her giggle. She grabbed my face and kissed me and I made sure I added some tongue into it. It started getting wild until I felt something pop me on my back. I ignored it the first time but the 3rd time that shit hurt like hell.
"Omg babe the sauce!" Kiya said with her eyes 10x bigger than what they are. I turned around and managed to get the top on the alfredo and turned the heat down. My stupid ass turned it up instead of down. Kiya started panicking and moving her hair out of her face.
"That was close" she said looking behind me again.
"Yeah, come on. It should be fine. " i said grabbing her hand.
"Ohh no buddy. You better watch that food. You can hit it after." She laughed making her way to the steps. I licked my top lip and shook my head turning my attention back to the sauce.
9:35 pm
"That was good." Kiya said as we made our way to the bed. We just got done watching movies and eating the alfredo.
"Yeah now time for desert." I said pulling the sheets over us kissing her causing her to squirm.
"Aug nooo" she said holding in moans.
"You said I could after the food was done. Now did you not?" I said raising a eyebrow.
"Yes I did " she said laughing.
"Ard then. Strip." I said looking at her. Tonight was gonna be a long one.
