1 year later -Deshae pov
"Come on baby, daddy on his way." I said to Avery. Yup. I had the baby. Avery Nicole Jones. Because of what happened between me and August in Myrtle Beach, we aren't together. But he was there when it was time for me to have Avery. He comes and gets her every other day depending on our work schedules and we say our hi's and bye's from there. After the incident, he tried reaching out to me several times but I wasn't having it. He can be the father he needs to be but I won't be fooled by him again.
As for Tavin , we've kinda started our own thing. I guess you could say we're together now. He doesn't like to really call it anything yet but for sure, I'm his and he's mine.
"Aye babe get the door!" I yelled down to Tavin. He didn't have any type of beef with August and I respected him for that even though August was wrong leaving me like that while I was pregnant.
"Babe he here." Tavin said coming into the room.
"Ard , come on Ave. Daddy here for you." I said kissing her cheek and carrying her down the stairs. August smiled when he seen us coming down.
"Hey" I said handing her over to him.
"Wassup. Hey mama" he said kissing Avery on her cheek while she played with his chin hair. "Is it ard if I keep her for a couple days?" He asked bouncing her up and down.
"Of course. So I need to pack more then?" I asked scrunching up my face a little.
"Yeah"
I ran upstairs and picked out a couple more outfits for Avery and went back downstairs.
"Ard say bye to mommy." She waved her little hand causing us to giggle and August was out shortly after. I sighed and made my way back up to Tavin.
Alexis pov
"Rico it's 1:30 baby" I said combing through my hair with my fingers. He was knocked out and had to be to work in a hour. I got on top of him and kissed him repeatedly until he started squirming.
"You have a hour to get ready" I said as his eyes fluttered open. He sighed and rubbed his eyes.
"Gimme kiss" he said in his sleepy voice.
"No no go brush your teeth first" I laughed. He sucked his teeth and pushed me off of him into the other side of the bed.
"Well thanks for that sir" I said moving hair out of my face. Just when I moved all the hair he ran over and stole a kiss from me. "Eww gross! Ya crusty ass breath" I said wiping my mouth and chasing him into the bathroom.
Me and Rico been getting along rreeeealll good. He spoils me every way he can.
"Ard gimme a real kiss" he said pulling his boxers up that were hanging off of his hips. I pecked his lips and of course he had to be extra. He laid on top of me for about 5 minutes.
"Rico you gonna be late moovvee!" I said trying to push him off of me. Me and Rico worked at a correctional facility. He worked part time there and at footlocker the rest of the time. We both planned to have babies soon but for right now, we need to get this money.
Tamia pov
"It's too early to put him in school babe" I said to Nick. He wanted to put Nolen in school but Nolen just turned one not too long ago. He doesn't even know a lot yet. "Maybe when he's 4 babe but not now"
"I'm about to get the car washed , you coming?" He said changing the subject.
"Nah go ahead" I said watching Nolen sleep.
"Aight I be back" he said pecking my lips.
Me and Nick are still strong as ever. We got into a argument not too long ago because of some female at his job that was calling his phone but I got it straightened out real quick. I was ready to square up with this hoe but Nick had to be the peacemaker.
"Hello?" I said answering my phone.
"Hey bittccchh" I heard Deshae say through the phone.
"Omggg hay boo" I said getting excited but trying not to wake up Nolen.
"What you been up hooker" she said causing me to giggle.
"Girl nothing major. We need to meet up its been awhile. How you been?"
"Girl it's been some drama but I'm good now."
"Yeah last time we seen each other was when you had Avery. Everything good with Tavin?" I said raising an eyebrow as if she could see me.
"Yeah we're good girl." She said sighing. We talked for about an hour then I got off the phone to feed Nolen. After feeding him, Nick and I ate and I took a nap.
August pov
"I told you I would move you down here if you wanted to bae" I said to Kiya through the phone. She was so down to come move with me but now she was flakin out talkin about her family.
"I know August. Just give me a couple weeks to think about it"
"Aight cool, just let me know. I can't keep traveling down there to see you every other week"
"Ok August I'll move with you" she said getting irritated.
"Nah don't let me make ya decisions baby"
"I'll call you later" she said.
When we got off the phone I ran my hands down my face and checked on Avery who was fast asleep before hopping in the shower.
