Avengers Parent Preferences

First Steps - 1

~ Steve Rogers ~

You and your dad were in the grocery store with Aunty Nat and Uncle Bucky. You sat in the baby carrier, carried by Uncle Bucky. All 4 of you stopped in front of the freezer to choose some ice-creams. The adults started arguing over which flavors they want. 

Bucky placed your carrier down to snatch his ice-cream from Nat. You looked around and saw a Captain America plushie in one of the shelves.

" Daddy" you giggled. You wanted to hold it so you pushed yourself on your legs, still a little wobbly. You fell on your butt. You grumbled and pushed yourself up. Finally you walked over to the plushie holding on to the shelves. You pulled it out and hugged it tightly giggling to yourself.

" BUCKY ! WHERE IS Y/N ?!" You heard your dad's voice.

" I DON'T KNOW ! SHE WAS RIGHT HERE !!" he yelled back

" Dadddyyyy !!" You screamed falling back on your butt. The three snapped their heads towards you and you wobbled back over to them.

" Daddy !" you exclaimed pointing to the plushie. Steve, Nat and Bucky looked at you with shocked expressions. Suddenly they broke out in huge smiles. Steve bent down to pick you up.

" Oh baby don't ever do that !" he said kissing your cheek. 

" Well, we might have to buckle her in next time" Nat said ruffling your hair.

" Let's go get ice-cream as a treat shall we ?" Steve asks and you giggle.

~ Tony Stark ~

Pepper was away on a business trip and you and Tony were the only ones in the tower. Most of your time was spent with your dad watching movies and playing in his lab. But you hated the nights. You would hear your dad scream and gasp due to his nightmares. You wanted to walk to him but you just weren't able to stand.

Today was the same. You heard him gasp and scream. You whimpered. You finally gathered courage and got down from your crib landing on your butt. You took a deep breathe and pushed yourself up with the help of the bars. You took the support of the walls as you made your way to your father's bedroom.

As you reached the door, JARVIS opened it. 

" Dada ?" you called as you heard sniffling.

" Y/N ? Sweetie how did you come here ? Did you walk ?" He said picking you up.

" Ms. Stark came here to help you with your nightmare Mr. Stark" JARVIS piped up.

" Dada no cry" You whimpered wiping his tears with your small hands.

" Oh sweetheart ! It's okay, dada's okay" He whispered rubbing your back.

" What do you say we send this video grab to your mommy ? And then watch a movie in celebration ?"

" Movie !" you cheered as both of you snuggled under the covers.

~ Peter Parker ~

Your dad and Ned were busy making the Lego Death Star in his room while you played with your toys in the corner. 

" Ned where's the last piece ? It goes on top !" You look up to see your dad and Ned looking around.

You go back to your toys but notice a small soldier like Lego in between your toys. You pick it up and look back at the Death Star. You pushed yourself off the ground and toddled towards the Death Star. You effortlessly place the last piece on top.

" Dad !" you cheer pointing to the last piece. Peter and Ned look at you with wide eyes and huge grins.

" Nooo she put the last  piece !!" Ned yelled and you started to whimper.

" NED ! She just walked for the first time and you're worried about that ?" Peter frowned. He picked you up.

" Good Job sweetie ! Let's tell Aunt May !" he cheered while walking out. Ned was still sulking.

~ Bucky Barnes ~ 

You were playing with Uncle Steve while your Dad was cooking dinner.  You heard your dad humming your favorite song. You wanted to go to him but Steve wouldn't let you move. You frowned.

As Steve went to the bathroom you took the opportunity to wobble over to your dad in the kitchen. You fell like three times in between. You saw your dad chopping vegetables. You smiled and hugged his legs.

He let out a surprised yelp but chuckled as he saw you latched to his led.

" Hey baby girl" he says picking you up. " Wait did you just walk here ?" he asks and you giggle.

" Hey Steve ?" he calls out and a panicked Steve comes into the kitchen. Relief washes over his face as he sees you in Bucky's arms.

" Did she walk for the first time and I missed it ?!" Steve whined and You and your dad just shook your head.
