Avengers Parent Preferences

First Day of School - Part 2

~Bucky Barnes~ 

I was up before anyone. I was excited for my first day of school ! Peter says it's the best place, well considering he's like a topper it sure is the best place for him. Daddy was freaking out so much, it was funny. I quickly jump out of my bed and run to my dad's room.

"DADDY ! DADDY ! WAKE UP!" I say jumping on him. He groans and pulls me into bed with him, his metal hand pulling me close to him. I wriggle under him in an attempt to wake him  up. Then I have a evil idea. Well, evil because dad freaks out pretty easy.

"Daddy, I feel sick" I whine and as expected dad shoots up from bed.

"What ?! What's wrong ? What hurts ?!" he frantically throws questions at me. I giggle and he looks at me like I was crazy.

"You're in so much trouble missy" he says grabbing me and tickling the life out of me. 

"Say you're sorry" he says

"I-I'm S-S-Sorry" I say out of breathe. He chuckles and places me on his hip.

"Care to tell me why you woke me up this early in the morning ?" he asks as we make our way to the kitchen.

"It's school day !!" I squeal.

"She's definitely the first kid I've seen who is genuinely excited to go to school" Steve says ruffling my hair.

"I mean" he says and places me on the counter while he makes pancakes.

"Okay stay safe and do not get into trouble" Bucky says as they reach the front gate of the school.

"Okay !" Y/N beams and gives Bucky a kiss on the cheek. He smiles and kisses her forehead before she runs off into the building.

"I hate this. She's growing up too fast"

~Stephen Strange~

"Ready to go sweetheart ?" Stephen asks peeking into Y/N's room. He darts around before spotting her in a corner, hyperventilating.

"Hey Hey" he says kneeling in front of her. She quickly grabs his wrist and places two fingers on his wrist to feel his pulse, a habit she developed since the first time she had a panic attack. He let's her calm down then pulls her in his lap.

"What happened ?" he asks stroking her hair.

"I don't want to go ! What if they hate me ?" she says in a small voice which breaks Stephen's heart.

"Oh, love. They'll not hate you and let me tell you this you're such a sweet and kind little girl it is not possible to hate you" he says kissing her forehead.

"Really ?" she asks innocently

"Really" he says smiling down at her. She quickly stands up and fixes her dress.

"Let's go then !" she says, a little confident then before.

"Do you want to use the portal ?" Stephen asks as he watches Y/N's eyes brighten up.

"YES !" she yells jumping up and down. "Here we go" he says opening a portal in her class.

"Bye Daddy !" she beams jumping into the portal.

"Bye Love" he says chuckling softly at the children's reactions.
