Transitions are the hardest things you might ever go through. And being a WolfBlood didn't help my situation. I had barely begun transitioning and dad put me in a school on Xandar. My eyes were different, they were blue most of the time but green when I shifted into a Black ferocious hound. I knew I'd stand out. No one in my school was a wolfblood.
The first half of my day went well, I made a friend - Andrea. She didn't die or scream when I told her I was a wolfblood so I am guessing we're cool.
"Can you just shoot me with this dart if I turn into a wolf all of a sudden ?" I ask handing her a blue dart.
"Are you sure this is safe ? What if you get some side-effects ?" she asks and I chuckle.
"You really are something Andy, here I am a ferocious alpha wolf and you're worried about me ? It's just for sedation, I'll loose consciousness. That's all" I say and she stuffs the dart in her pocket. We sit in the corner, peacefully eating our lunch. But we all know what happens in High School when you're a new student.
"YO ! NEW GIRL !" I hear a male voice, I turn around in my chair and see a boy not much older than me waving a spoon in the air like a maniac. I sigh and wave lightly.
"We hear you is a orphan ?!" he yells and his idiotic group laughs loudly, I felt my neck and fingers twitch. I stand up and speed walk.
"Just like her stupid father" one of them laughs. I swiftly turn around.
"What the fuck did you just say ?" I ask grabbing him by the collar. He scoffs and spits on my face. I kick him on the floor, my body was starting to shift. A round of amused and scared gasps rung out through the cafeteria as I opened my eyes.

"SHE'S A WOLF BLOOD ! RUN !! SHE'LL EAT EVERYONE OF US !" someone yells and everyone starts running around. I feel a sting in my neck, I turn around and see that Andy had shot me with the dart I had given her. Slowly she stepped closer to me as I started shaking and shifting back to my human form.
"Hey Hey are you okay ?" she asks as I turn over throwing up and body still shivering. I nod but everything goes black.
I groan, holding my head and sit up. I see dad sitting beside my bed.
"How are you feeling Nova ?" he asks taking my hand in his. I give him a weak smile.
"I know I messed up dad, I'm sorry. It's just that he said stuff about you and I kind of flipped" I say. He chuckles and hugs me tightly.
"You're not an orphan okay ? I'm your father and always will be" he says and I smile as he places a kiss on my forehead.
"But you're grounded for sneaking a dart to school."
"I know. How long ?" I ask
"2 weeks"
"Fair enough."
"Can I invite Andy over to our ship though ?"
"Yeah sure, she was quite the hero when she shot you with that dart though"
"Yeah, she was."
