Strange paced back and forth in the living room, anticipation getting the better of him. Today was the day Tony and Stephen were welcoming a bundle of joy in their family. Tony, Nat, Bruce and Steve had gone to the adoption centre to complete the paperwork and bring home their daughter.

On the other hand, Peter, Bucky, Wanda, Vision Rohdey and Pepper were trying to calm Strange down. To say he was freaking out would be an understatement. A big one. He was having a bawl about how he shouldn't be the one everyone relies on to hold the baby. 

"Strange, this is outrageous, you're not going to hurt your baby !" Bucky says sighing exasperatedly as the rest of the group nods in agreement.

"Yes, we've been over this like a hundred times in past week, I mean no offence but who practices cradling a baby ?" Rohdey says

"And besides that we all trust you" Wanda says placing a hand on his shoulder.

"I don't know...." he trailed off as the elevator doors dinged, revealing a very excited and overjoyed group of superheroes.

"She's here !!" Peter said excitedly running towards Tony who held a small figure in a hoard of lilac blankets.

He lifted the blanket revealing a small baby girl, a lopsided grin plastered on her features. She stirred and opened her eyes, staring at the large group of people around her. Her eyes caught on the faint glow of the Arc reactor, she lifted her small hand resting it against the glow.

"You like that sweetheart ?" Tony coos kissing her forehead.

Everyone took cradled her in their arms, even Bucky. Tony looked around and noticed Strange standing in the far end of the room.

"Babe, what are you doing there ?" he asks walking closer to him. 

"Come on, hold her" he says and Strange backs away a little.

"I don't know Tony" he mumbles and Tony pulls him closer.

"No, you're not doing this to yourself again" he says forcefully making him sit on the couch.

"Here, cradle the back of her head and hips" he says helping Strange hold her. Strange smiles as she looks in his eyes, the lopsided grin reappearing on her face. His cloak also rubs her semi-bald head. Tony and Strange smile widely caressing her cheeks.

"Welcome Home Y/N !"
