Des POV

I stared at her amazed. Two days ago I wouldn’t have thought for another second if this girl was sitting in front of me, but it wasn’t two days ago. I’ve been told by multiple people that the girl was not alive and committed suicide or was murdered. “I don’t understand. How can you be here?” “I have been hiding for over a year. Rex was supposed to kill me, but Will came to me and hid me away from everyone. I wrought a fake suicide note and William somehow got a fake body. It was the only way to protect me and I hoped Sean, but obviously I was wrong. Will has been telling me about Justine and her gifts. If she is as strong as he says her powers are the strongest of all of us.” Leba explained. “She’s special.” I said with a goofy smile as I was making my way to the desk. “So you are her Mate. William was concerned that you were going to use her, but after that face I don’t think there’s a way of saying you’re not Mates.” “Why are you here?” I asked changing the subject away from Jay. “I came to help you. We need to stop Alpha Fredrick and Rex. Will has been keeping me updated on what’s going on and if I’m right there only one way to stop them.” I put my head into my hands this was a lot to take in. “Ok, but we are having people come over. Can we do this tomorrow?” I asked pleadingly. “Of course we can talk about this tomorrow.” She said bubbly. I just shook my head at how much she reminded me of Justine.

Then it hit me. Sean was going through withdrawal from his mate. In reality he didn’t really want to do most of the things that he did and he would be a good weapon against The Saviors. As long as I keep him of a short leash and Leba stays with us everything will be fine. “Do you want to see Sean?” I asked getting a small evil smile. Her face light up, “Yes, I haven’t seen him in forever.” “Ok, I’ll let you see him, but two of my pack members will be there in with you. I don’t really trust him.” She nodded her head in understanding. With that quickly I called Trever and Michele to guard them. Alex and Albin were having dinner with us and I didn’t trust Ray to do it. I stood up from behind my desk when the door busted opened. Justine and Jace were standing there. With one look at Justine I forgot what I was doing and made my way to her. “Hey, baby.” I cooed wrapping her into a hug. “Hey, who’s this?” Justine asked spectacle. “Leba.” Her eyes grow big and she looked so confused. “I know, I’ll explain before we go to bed tonight.”

“You summoned us.” Michele said in a really cheese accent as him and Trever walked into the room. As soon as Trever walked in Jace turned and glared at him. “Yeah, I need you to bring Leba to the Toy room and stay in there with them for a while.” With that order they both nodded not asking any questions and walked Leba to the Toy room. “Ok, let’s go eat.” I said wrapping my arm around Justine’s waist. “Ok, will you get the kids?” She asked. “Kids?” Jace looked angry and confused. “Two orphans that we took in.” I informed him. He’s face looked relived. Justine left Jace and I walking to her room. “Time to eat!” I called into Justine’s room. The two kids bounced off of the bed and couch and ran to me. Rick ran out of the room and past me and Jace. Then came May, she was just kind of jogging. She was almost out of the room when Albin ran up behind her and pushed her out of his way. She flew into a wall as he ran out of the room. Jace looked at me confused. “He’s my brother. Don’t ask.” I think he related to that well by the look on his face.

“HELP!!!” Justine shrieked from the kitchen. Jace and I boomed down the hall. Justine was standing in front of the stove with flames fuming out. If it wasn’t for the fact that Justine was in danger I would have been on the ground rolling. She thought I was the one that was going to burn the building. Thinking fast Jace ran to the stove and shut the door. I know a simple action that she should have thought of. “Justine if you close the door it will suffocate itself.” Jace told her rolling his eyes. Justine got a deep red blush across her face and looked like she wanted to crawl under a rock.
