I COULDN'T BELIEVE THAT I WOULD ACTUALLY SEE HER.
When I looked at the car's side mirror earlier, the smile on my face immediately disappeared. At that time, as soon as I had gripped the steering wheel for my dear life, that's when I found out that it was not a dream.
At first, I was thrilled to see her since I wanted to get revenge. But when I saw the fear in her eyes, it seemed to have reflected mine.
And that scared me.
Now that she was right in front of me earlier, it was as if I had lost all my courage to do something foolish. I just can't believe it. I should not be nervous. I thought that I could be intimidated by anybody but her.
But, she's really here at my university.
I also did not think I could talk to her that close. I should have been angry with her for everything but it disappeared suddenly when she started glaring right at me. I was surprised at her reaction too.
She really had the guts to talk back to me.
I noticed that Benedict's reaction changed as he saw me being silent in that situation - and he knew that I wasn't normally like that just because of a woman. I always win in such a fight. But now, I was too embarrassed to face the girl in front of me.
I was too distracted by my own thoughts, I didn't notice that Yen had already opened the door, and put her bag in my car, before sitting on the seat next to me. She remained silent so I was terrified of what she'll say.
Ever since she took my enlistment form without any emotion plastered on her face, I knew immediately that this talk would not be good. You see, my sister was not fond of having other girls as my girlfriend.
She was in favor of Vanessa being my actual girlfriend. I was the only one who really objected to our relationship. Almost all of my family members agreed with Vanessa's family and loved them.
You see, Vanessa wasn't really my type. But since my parents' desired she becomes my girlfriend, I couldn't do anything. No matter how intolerable she was.
"Who was that girl, Ethan?" my sister asked me, interested in the woman I talked to earlier. It was very obvious in her tone that she wanted to know more about her anyway.
And there goes that question. The only question that could get me into trouble. One wrong answer, there goes my freedom.
I finally gulped. How the hell am I going to tell her everything now? I mean, she's the same girl that I almost ran over. Even if I did want my revenge, I don't want her to get involved in this problem. She's still a stranger to me after all.
While I was silent, I immediately received notifications from Benedict. Glancing at his message on my phone, picked it up, and immediately frowned.

Hey Rome, can you call my cousin? I can't seem to get in touch with her. I'm just a bit worried. I can't call anymore since I don't have any more load. Can you do it for me? Here's her number. Thanks! 09*********I didn't want to annoy or offend her more than she is right now so I decided to put my phone down. I'll do that request later. But now, I will pay attention to my sister first.
"Well? Are you even going to talk?" she asked me, her eyes still looking at her phone.
A few seconds later, she immediately got bored as silence overtook the whole situation. I'm not afraid of my sister but I just don't really want to talk to her right now.
