When I looked out of my vehicle, I noticed a familiar woman on the side of the road - looking for a taxi to call. With eyebrows raised, I suddenly noticed her pouting while her legs were still covered with dirt.

Her small figure was shivering a little since she probably didn't expect that I'd go full speed and splash that water on her.

Wait, wasn't she the woman on Jollibee and the one I had passed by earlier?

Ha, served you right.

Turning my attention back to pushing my car, I noticed that my car was not moving even though I had tried a few attempts to push it.

My instincts knew that I had nothing to do but pick up the cell phone right in the car before sitting down next to Benedict.

I could even see that he seemed surprised when I just got in the car instead of pushing it from the outside.

As I adjusted myself on my seat and wiped the sweat dripping down my forehead, my eyes widened when Benedict started talking beside me.

"Ethan, what happened? Why are you here? Aren't you supposed to be outside, pushing the car?" he immediately asked me as I frowned at him. Can't he just have a little bit of mercy on me? He literally did nothing but step on the accelerator of the car as I push it.

Of course, his shouting did not help at all.

"Well, now, here I am," I said before continuing to speak, "Of course, I'm tired from pushing. How about you try it for once?"

"I was just asking," Benedict replied before he looked away from me. Maybe he noticed my sarcasm so he never spoke again about it.

Instead, he took his headphones back to his ear and played loud music - probably to block the sounds around him or to prevent me from complaining further.

I'm sure that it's the latter, though.

Focusing again on the cell phone in my hand, I immediately searched the contacts for my sister's name and waited for it to ring.

To be honest, I never wanted to ask for help from my sister. Case in point, I just had to because we were stuck here earlier. It is better that we are on the side than in the middle.

It would be more embarrassing if we were blocking the road and another vehicle would be honking its horns in anger.

And the other reason why I already asked for help is because of Benedict. I'm sure he'll ask too many questions again and he'll only get irritated if I answer back.

A few seconds later, I then heard my sister's voice on the other line - it was obvious in her tone that she was furious when she started to talk.

I could literally hear her standing up from her chair before even answering back through the phone.

"What do you want now? I'm busy."

This is what I heard from her as I just gulped. She almost hinted that she was literally mad at me since I disturbed her work.

And since I know that she's probably too preoccupied, I think I just made the situation worse.

But, I couldn't just leave my car here, can I?

I sighed deeply, and I immediately answered him. I couldn't care less. I need someone to tow us out anyway. Whatever consequences I get, I am ready to face them. After all, it was my mistake in the first place.

"Yen, we may have encountered a little problem."

When I looked at Benedict, I noticed that he had been impatient but was reluctant to tell me.
