Desiree's POV
I woke up the next day without hearing loud knocks at the door, which was fortunate. I got up and went to the kitchen to make some breakfast. I made scrambled eggs, pancakes, and french toast for all of us and a small bowl of Special K for myself.
I brought my bowl of cereal filled a little bit with milk to the window seat. I started my day by waking myself up with a nice view of the sun rising just above the horizon. The sky was stained a light mixture of yellow and orange.
"G' morning, early bird," someone said while walking down the stairs. I turned my head to take a glance at the person. It was Rob.
"Good morning, Rob," I replied and turned my head back to face the sunrise.
"Ooh, you made breakfast for the Pack! Very very noice," he said while rubbing his hands together. "But no coffee?"
"Nah, couldn't find the coffee filters, bruh."
"So you like the view, eh?"
"Yeah, it's nice. I like the way you can take a good look at the sunrise in the morning."
"You, too? I liked that way about the house as well... in fact this house is probably my favorite out of all of the houses I've lived in," he said while opening a cupboard. "Why do you like looking at the sunrise?"
"The sunrise is something that is just... pleasant to my eyes when I wake up. Just relaxing to gaze at. The architecture of this seat is perfect for comfort to me. It's like the architect of the house made this room have that 'feng shui' feel to it, you know? It's weird."
Rob walked over to me holding his cup of coffee in his hand.
"Scooch. Yeah, you kind of think like me. In fact, I was actually one of the architects to conduct the making of the house. That's probably why it has that 'feng shui' feel, 'cause Rob-A-Dob-Flob himself made the house," he told me while I shifted closer to the window, and he sat down on the remaining space.
"It's a beautiful thing to watch the world wake up," I said softly and Rob smiled a bit.
"I can see why the boys fall in love with you so easily. Something about you is just so perfect."
He left those words to sink into my mind and went back upstairs with his cup of coffee.

"Hey, guys, I'm bored, can we do something?" Jerome whined.
"Rob, Vikk, Preston, and Lachlan are recording. That leaves you, Mitch, and myself to do something. What do you wanna do?" I asked.
"Oh, let's watch the Hunger Games! I want to see all of the action happen!" Mitch yelled from the living room. I froze, and Jerome nodded.
"Are you okay, Dez?" Mitch asked.
I unfroze. "Y-yeah, it's just, I wasn't planning on watching the Hunger Games, but if you guys really want to, then it's fine."
"We won't watch it if you don't, Dez. We can watch another," Mitch said, but I shook my head.
"Nah, it's okay, I've learned to cope."
"You sure?" Jerome asked, and I nodded.
"I'll go get popcorn and drinks."
"I'll go set up the movie, then," Mitch said and got up from the couch.
"And I'll get blankets and pillows for maximum comfort," Jerome said and ran upstairs.
I went and grabbed the microwavable popcorn bags and Sprite cans from the fridge. In a couple minutes, I came back to the living room with two large bowls of popcorn and a bunch of Sprite cans. Mitch had set up the movie to the menu and turned on the surround sound. Jerome had spread blankets and pillows throughout the living room floor. I placed all of the snacks on the coffee table.
