Desiree's POV

I woke up from a bright ray of sunshine blaring in my eyes. I attempted to sit up, and something moved around me. I took a glance. I remembered that Lachlan stayed with me for comfort. His arms were wrapped around me, and I was still close to his chest. I blushed and tried to carefully moved out of his grip, but he was holding me tight.

"Hey, Lachlan, wake up," I whispered, prodding his arm. He stirred slightly, his eyelids fluttering open.

"Mmm... what?" he asked softly.

"You're holding me too tight. I can't get up," I said giggling. I saw his face flush and his grip loosened.

"Thank you, dude," I said and got up from the bed.

"Dez, help me, I can't get up. I'm too lazy," Lachlan whined, making me roll my eyes.

"Here, reach for my hands," I told him and held out my hands across the bed. He threw himself over the sheets and grabbed my hands. I yanked his hands hard, and he fell off the bed with a loud thump.

"Jesus Christ, Desiree, can you try and not break my face? If you do that again, my facecam will make my fans scream!" he groaned, still face down on the floor. I laughed.

"You're so cute, Lachlan," I said, laughing and bent down and poked his cheek. I picked him back up again, putting his arm over my shoulder. I noticed his cheeks were sort of pink, making me laugh even more.

"Hurry up, you're so slow! I want mah Special K, man!" I yelled and slipped my hand in his and dragged him to the kitchen.

"Here, Rob, can you hold Lachlan while I make my breakfast? Thanks," I said quickly and threw Lachlan in Rob's arms and went to make my cereal. Rob stumbled back with Lachlan's weight. I made my cereal and hopped onto the window seat to watch the sunrise. The slight warmth from the sunshine felt nice on my skin.

"Whatcha lookin' at, Dez?" Mitch mumbled with his mouth filled with pancakes and syrup.

"The sunrise," Rob answered before I could reply. "It's nice to look at in the morning is what she told me."

I took a bite of my cereal and continued to gaze at the houses.

"Hey, Dez," Lachlan said before sitting next to me.

"Hey," I replied softly.

"We're all going to record a video and stream, do you want to watch?"

"Um... nah, I'm good. I have something I need to do. Thanks for asking though."

"Alright, but if you want to join in later, go ahead," Lachlan told me and got up.

I finished eating my cereal and went to take a quick shower.

"Lady, running down to the riptide, taken away to the dark side, I wanna be your left hand man. I love you, when you're singing that song and, I got a lump in my throat 'cause you're gonna sing the words wrong..." I sang softly as the warm water trickled down my back and into the drain.

I wrapped a towel around my body when I finished showering, then blow-dried my hair until it was light and fluffy. I rubbed lotion on my skin then went back into my room to pick out an outfit. I picked out a strapless floral dress with full black leggings. I pulled my hair into a high ponytail with a dull pink scrunchie then slipped on my black flats. I took out a cross body purse and slipped my phone in.

I walked to the door and turned the door knob.

"Desiree! Where are you going?" Mitch called from the top of the staircase. I turned on my heel to look up at him.
