Mew left last from the house. He kept on staring at Gulf who didn't look his way after he told them to get out. Mew's eyes were literally begging Gulf to hold him back. To make him stay with him but Gulf walked away leaving him stranded. Gulf's father waited by the door so could close it after Mew. He cleared his throat to alert Mew that he needed to hurry up so he could close the door.

Mew walked out with a broken heart. Gulf had once again broken his promise.

He was dreading going home with Manny and his mother. Manny was definitely going to snap. Hopefully their father would protect them as he had said. But if Gulf could not keep his promise, then his father definitely would never keep his.

The drive was tense, no one uttered a word. Mew just wished the car would topple over and take some lives.

The ride home was quicker that's usual and Mew was drawn out by red and blue lights flashing brightly outside the car.  He looked out the window and he saw three police cars and one big and black fancy car outside their house. Uncle was with them and for some reason he felt relieved seeing the officers there.

One of the officers in uniform came and stood infront of their car to stop them from going further. The father who had been driving turned off the engine and stepped out of the car surprised.

"What is going on here?" He asked approaching the policeman infront of his car. He looked at the group of officers and amongst them, Granh was there.

Manny and Linda and Mew stepped out of the car too curious.

Mew looked around and he saw Phin in his usual uniform proudly approaching them his hands on his belt on the waist containing guns and other things.

Phin smiled in Mew's direction and gave a wink. Mew felt safe.

Phin went straight to Manny and pulled out a folded paper from the pocket on his chest and unfolded it holding it up to Manny's face so he could see the arrest warrant.

Manny Jongcheveevat, you're under arrest for sexually assaulting Faffy and physically abusing Mew, you have the right to remain silence and what you say will be used against you in the court of law.

Linda saw her life collapsing before her eyes as Phin cuffed Manny reciting the Miranda rights.

"You have the right to an attorney or the court can assign you one."

The father watched as it unfolded, he knew it was a matter of time and it still hurt knowing Manny had done such a terrible thing towards another human.

He saw Manny being dragged away towards Graham and was even shocked to see that he was cuffed too.

He didn't ask anymore. He just went and stood next to Mew and gave him a side hug. "It's ok now. It's going to be ok."

Mew felt like that too. That it was going to be ok. Until he turned and saw his mother. Maybe not? He wasn't sure but it was better that Manny was fine. That was one thing for sure. His relief came when Phin came back with another set of cuffs his steps pointing towards his mother. If only Mew could dance to show how happy he was.

Another arrest warrant was produced, "Linda Jongcheveevat you're under arrest for instigating murder, bribery, manipulating evidence and false accusations against Gulf."

It was satisfying to watch but Mew's father was even more confused.

Mew wanted to call Gulf and share the good news but he was unaware that as soon as his family left the house, Phin had alerted them that they were going to Mew's residence with some arrest warrants. The DNA samples had matched and they had submitted the medic's reports and the driver of  the ambulance' statement of finding Faffy dumped outside the school along with a video of Aaron Granh holding a drunk  Manny passing by the area where Faffy had been dumped. Aaron confessed that Linda had instructed him to run over Faffy,

Mew's medical records were also submitted and they were hoping Mew would testify against his brother.

Then Granh was being charged with attempted murder.

This time there was no coming back from all this.

Mew sighed relieved and the father stood next to him bothered somewhat. They watched the cars leave one after the other.

Mew slept well that night but not his father.
A few days later, Mew's father made Mew write the midterms during the break and it came out well. Being rich surely had some perks. He rested well and got better. But he still had scheduled checkups for the next six months.

In the third month, Manny, Linda and Aaron were sentenced. Linda 5years, Aaron Granh 3 years and Manny 15 years.
