The two adults could only cry for their baby.

What surprised Gulf was how he didn't know that such a thing had happened. He was not popular at school but somehow any news of his sister travelled fast to him. Such as when she fell down the stairs because she was being clumsy or when she's not feeling well or even when she fails or passes a test.  He was really curious why he hadn't known.

No.

Why didn't anyone talk about it? A a girl being raped in school was a case that would cause havoc but why was it no one was talking about it. He went back to school with about an hour before it ended and still everything seemed normal. He asked around but no one had any idea of what had happened. He went to Faffy's class and her friends only noticed that she disappeared during lunch time. She had gone to the bathroom and she did not return.

Gulf was stricken. As he was still wondering what had transpired, a call came in from his father letting him know that Faffy woke up and she was looking for him and screaming again.

He rushed back to the hospital and as soon as he got there, he was heartbroken at seeing her sister tied down on the hospital bed.

He lost it when he saw how helpless she looked. He grabbed the first doctor that came in by his collar and pushed him out. He was 17 years old but he he was capable.

"What the heck are you doing to her? Why would you tie her like that? Do you want her to get better?"

"Calm down sir," the nurses tried to calm Gulf down. "It's only the anesthesia making her like that otherwise she might not remember what's going on."

"If you don't untie her right now so help me God you're going to see something ugly." He threatened his 17 year old voice causing fear.

"Son!" The father tried to scold.

"Father please don't even." When it came to Faffy no one stood a chance, not even the parents.

"I want her untied right now." He demanded
Everyone stood there watching him.

"I said right now!" He shouted and the nurses ran inside and untied the girl. As soon as they did she fell back asleep.

He looked at them with contempt, "So what were you thinking she was going to do? Are you people even qualified? I swear if anything happen because of this you're all going to pay for this. Mark my words."

He slammed the door shut and it startled everyone even Faffy. She started whimpering and he was there in a second calming her down.

"Don't leave me. I'm afraid." She cried.

And that's what went down the whole month. Faffy was just too terrified to be in anyone's presence but Gulfs. She was discharged from the hospital a week later.

However, she started having anxiety attacks each time she realized Gulf was gone.  Gulf had sleepless nights because of the nightmares she was having and he still managed to go to school as if nothing had happened.

The bond between them was just too much. It all started the day Faffy came back from the hospital as a new born. Gulf saw her wrapped around in blankets and he just couldn't let his eyes wander away from such a pretty soul.

The parents had decided to name her Gabby and upon hearing the name, 3 year old Gulf couldn't pronounce it well so he went 'Faffy.'

They thought it was more befitting for their angel and more easy for Gulf to pronounce so they stuck to Faffy and Gabby was forgotten.

Whenever Faffy cried, Gulf was there holding her hand and he felt proud every time the new born held his finger and not letting go. Faffy grew up playing Gulf.

In a day, Gulf spent most of the time with Faffy and he became so protective of her.

The parents had a hard time disciplining Faffy because of Gulf. He wouldn't let them raise their voice at her. He wouldn't let them raise their hand at her, the one time they tried it was war. It was an age where Gulf was learning to use the emergency services. They emphasized protecting his loved ones if they are in danger.

So Gulf called the police on them. How? They did not know but they became more surprised by the allegations the child was placing against them. He innocently told the law enforcements how they were hitting his sister and hurting her because she made a mistake. It almost became an issue with the social workers coming to investigate. Let's just say there was nothing Gulf wouldn't do to protect his sister. They grew up like that. Anyone who dared to mistreat Faffy surely had to pay back.

Now to think someone dared to lay their filthy fingers on her was something unforgivable.

However no matter how he endlessly searched for the culprit, he couldn't find them and it only made him miserable.

The hatred he was feeling was inexplicable.

He swore to punish whoever had committed such atrocities. He was going to make their family suffer.

Forget about family.

He was going to make their whole generation suffer.

And it was a promise he was going to keep.
