Gulf left the family to solve their problems. What he only wanted was the result. He didn't need the process. He wanted justice for his little sister. Justice for his family.

As soon as he left, Mew's father sat down on the chair Gulf was sitting on. He could feel his head starting to heat up with anger. "From the beginning, tell me everything from the beginning."

Linda looked at Mew and Mew looked away. They were both confused by the statement. They were not sure who was supposed to narrate the story of their lives. So they both remained quiet.

"You know what? Call Manny here."

The thought of confronting Manny had Mew panicking,

"Father I don't think I can do it with Manny here."

"But I'm right here Mew. I'll protect you,"

Mew shook his head. "I can't do it with Manny here."

The father hadn't realized the depth of the matter until then. Mew was scared of Manny that he couldn't be in the same room.

"I'm so sorry Mew," the father teared up. "I'm so sorry son. I'll make it right. Linda come with me." The tone which he used indicated that something was going to go down between them  but Mew couldn't care.

It was a week later that something unexpected happened and it took Gulf's family by surprise. Gulf and Faffy were watching TV whilst the father and mother were in the kitchen making lunch. It was after Gulf and Faffy chuckled at something on the screen when a knock came at the door. Gulf's father went and opened it and invited the unexpected guests inside.

Gulf's first reaction was to hug his sister placing her head in his chest to shield her from seeing Manny coming in with his family. What Gulf wasn't expecting was seeing Mew with a bandaged head come in too.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing here?" Gulf cursed his eyes looking at Mew. There were so many things wrong with the picture he was looking at. Firstly, Mew was supposed to be in the hospital recuperating. The fact that he had a bandage on his head meant he was still sick and seeing him in the house made him so angry. Just what were they doing?

Another thing was that Mew and Manny were in the same territory and for some reason it rubbed him off.

Lastly what were they doing here?

The visitors stood awkwardly by the door as they clearly felt how uncomfortable and unwelcome they were in the house.

"Take your sister away." Gulf's father instructed and Gulf did so gladly. He could feel Faffy already getting stressed out. He took her away and in his way back, he went via the kitchen to calm his nerves down with some water. He drank some and came out with a glass of water in his hands. He stood at the back of the room as he watched the family of four and he couldn't help but feel like there was one more person missing.

The father started talking expressing how sorry he was. Gulf gripped the water glass in his hand at every statement. It was going well until it was the mother's turn. She couldn't help it. She tried and tried to hold herself back but she was a mother,

"Please don't send my son to prison," she begged and that did it. Gulf threw the glass he was holding against the wall and it startled everyone.

"Get Out!" The teenager had lost his respect. All the things he had wanted to say whilst the father was talking came back to him in a moment of anger.

He looked at Mew's father and started questioning him, "What? You didn't know? Did your son grow wings and fly out of the country the day he raped my sister?"

He stepped closer with each sentence, "Did the school teachers get amnesia for suddenly not knowing who your son was just after he left?"

His eyes became red, "Your driver fucking attempted murder by hitting my little sister and you tell me what? Forgiveness?"

He was feeling frustrated, "Your son lived all his life thinking he was adopted and the first thing you do is do what? Ask for forgiveness?"

Gulf chuckled as angry tears made an appearance, he pointed at Mew as he said, "He almost died at the hands of your son and the first thing you think about is forgiveness? Aren't you ashamed of yourself?

Forgiveness is given to someone who has made a mistake.

And a mistake is when you step on someone's foot.

You only need to pay back for the wrongs you have done and that includes your son and your driver going to jail. If you can't handle that then go to hell."

"Gulf!" Gulf's father reprimanded but he knew, when it came to Faffy no one stood a chance.

Not even Mew.

Gulf looked at Mew, face full of disappointment.

Why had he agreed to be dragged down here?

Why had he not stopped them from coming?

The betrayal he felt was real this time and there was no hope of recovering from it.

He shook his head and looked at Mew with a straight face; he sighed and said, "Get Out!"

Mew who had been sitting there silently rooting for Gulf during his outburst felt his heart breaking at being targeted.

Mew had agreed to come here because of One thing.

Gulf.

When Mew woke up a week ago, Gulf had told him to come to him and that's what he did. He had wanted to stay behind with Gulf the moment his family were leaving. He had planned to use every card he had that'll make him stay with Gulf but Gulf...

Mew blinked the tears away as he felt his end and this time it was real because going back home only meant one thing.

Death.
