Gulf received another call and that's when he snapped out of it. He knew he had to go to Faffy. He couldn't stay with Mew no matter how much he wanted to.

He got up and left the house as he heard the ambulance sirens from a distance. He ran in the rich quiet suburbs not knowing where he was going. The streets were so wide and clean but there was not one soul in sight. He kept on running and it was by sheer luck that he saw a taxi passing by. That's how he managed to escape from the unfamiliar place.

Two hours before Mew's accident:

Phin got in the station holding a small plastic bag for evidence, inside was a memory card. He was happy to have gotten the black box from the owner of the car. He went on his computer and opened the memory card and watched the videos from the dates the girl was found outside the school.

He watched the videos until he came across the video he was looking for. The ambulance had taken Faffy's body just after lunch time which was between 1 and 3pm. During that period, he saw two males; one was a student from Faffy's school who seemed intoxicated and the other an adult dressed in a formal wear holding the boy helping him walk. They were the only people that were captured during the period, so they were his suspects for now.

Phin went to the surveillance department of the station and requested to see some CCTVs around the school. It didn't take a while since he had the exact time he wanted to see. He saw a continuation of the black box videos. He saw the older male put the young teenager in the back of the car and saw him drive away.  When the car turned around to go, the number plates came in view and he took them down.

The next step was to get the registration of the number plate to get the name of the owner and their address which was easy to do. It didn't take him a while to complete that task and soon he was faced registration details of the car captured in the surveillance videos.

His findings were getting scarier by each minute. The car was registered to one Aaron Granh but the name on the insurance was different.

The first name was unfamiliar but the last name was one he identified right away. Jongcheveevat. He opened his small notebook to connect these dots and for sure he had jotted down the name before.

However, he had jotted it down next to Mew's name. The irresponsible parents of the young boy being bullied came to mind too.

Why were these names popping up right here? He wondered.

He printed the man's photo and placed it in his pocket. He took the address and left right away to the residence of Aaron Granh. When he parked his car an ambulance was departing from the house and he looked after it confused.

He got out as Aunty was going back inside the house and called for her attention.

"Excuse me, I'm looking for Aaron Granh."

Aunty looked back and approached the policeman wondering why he was looking for the driver.

"He is not around." She responded,

"Does he live here?" The policeman had to confirm,

"He works here. He is the driver of the house."

"The driver?" He thought out loud. He reached inside his pocket and showed the lady a picture he had,

"is he this person," he asked handing over a picture to aunty who nodded her head in confirmation,

"yes it's him. But what's happening? Is he in trouble?"

"I hope not." The officer replied, "do you know where he might've gone or when he is coming back?"

"He doesn't usually go out without telling me first but I think he forgot to tell me today."

"Thank you for your time," he thanked the lady and then he remembered the ambulance,

"Is everything ok? I saw an ambulance pulling out?"

"Someone got hurt,"

"Was it Mew," he guessed.

"Yes, how do you know Mew?"

"I met him recently on a case. What happened?" He couldn't help but be curious.

"I'm not really sure. He was with his friend and next thing I hear he is falling down the stairs."

"When you say friend do you mean Gulf?"

Aunty looked suspiciously at the policeman, "yes but how do you know all this?"

"It's a long story. Thank you for your time. I'll come back again to see Mr Granh."

The man left the premises and returned to the station. As soon as he got back he heard Sert talk about an accident that had happened.

"The man said the girl jumped in front of the car intentionally," Sert explained.

"And the witnesses?" Phin asked

"No one really witnessed anything helpful. They all saw from the part where the girl went flying in the air. They didn't see who came on who and his car didn't have a blackbox."

"That's tricky,"

"Atleast it wasn't a hit and run. The man waited for the police to get there whilst the girl was taken to the hospital. He also went to the hospital that's why I came here to check if he has any history of such accidents,"

"What's his name?"

"I forgot but I wrote it down somewhere. Can you please go to the hospital whilst I look for the cctvs of the accident and also his history."

"Sure," Phin got the details he needed and left for the hospital.

As soon as he got there, he saw a man waiting by the Emergency Room door and as he approached him he couldn't help but find him familiar.

"Are you the person who got involved in an accident?" He asked approaching the man,

"Yes, that's me," he man responded regretfully

"Your car doesn't have a black box?"

"No. Unfortunately it wasn't on."

"I see. What's your name again?" The detective already knew but he wanted confirmation.

"Aaron Granh,"

Before the officer could ask another question, Faffy's mother and father came running in.

"Where's my baby?" the mother asked distressed.

Phin , recognized the mother right away and went to greet her.

"My baby is back here again. It wasn't long before she came out of the hospital but she's back again." The woman lamented sorrowfully how unlucky her daughter was.

Phin turned to Aaron Granh with a frown. He hadn't known the girl this guy hit was Faffy.

All of a sudden something fishy was going. In his head he connected the pieces.

Aaron Granh is Mew's driver.

Aaron Granh is a suspect on Faffy's rape case.

Aaron Granh hit Faffy with a car today which he is claiming it was an accident.

There was no way this was a coincidence.
