CHAPTER FIFTEEN!
                      — Limerence

" That's gross, Padfoot. "

EMBER WHITE WALKED DOWN TO TRANSFIGURATION. Currently it was her lowest grade. She was good at it, but to be a healer you need the best grades. Good wouldn't do. DADA, herbology, potions, transfiguration, and Charms. Which she was the top of her class in charms so that wasn't an issue.

Many people watched as she walked by, though she had her backpack on two books were in her arms. Hamlet and Pride and Prejudice. Only the two best books in her opinion. Sure, Hamlet was long but the tragedy is so real? It ends in heartbreak and suicides. Deaths and tears. It seemed like something that was fitting.

Now, Pride and Prejudice on the other hand, was a comfort book. Elizabeth judges Mr. Darcy too quickly and with too little information, and Mr. Darcy acts as if he were superior to the others. Yet, they finally learn how to respect each other and marry.

Ember related to this in a way, sure her and River weren't exactly on speaking terms... but that never meant she didn't still love him.

Yes, she would accept his apology as soon as the offer came up. Of course they would talk to settle it down. And maybe even get a stern talking to by Ophelia, who was getting tired of the trio falling apart.

She only stopped walking when someone grabbed her forearm. She was turned around to face the man of the minute, River. He stood there with a brave look on his face, determined.

"Can we talk?" He asked quickly. Ember wanted, no, longed to say yes. But she couldn't let words form out. She couldn't say the three letter word.

It's all your fault Ember!

You mess everything up!

"no." She said quickly, realizing her mistake, she shook her head, "No, no! I meant yes. Yes you can talk to me." She hastily spoke, trying to ignore the growing heat in her face and her high voice.

River nodded and motioned for Ember to follow him. The two ended up in an abandoned classroom. "Okay, we have a lot to talk about."

"Yeah..." Ember breathed.

"First off. I'm sorry. Like, really, really sorry. I shouldn't have said anything. I regret it. And I miss you, and I know Ophelia is tired of the bickering. I'm tired of the bickering. I truly miss you Ember. And I am so so sorry." River said all of this in one breath.
