EMBER WHITE LOVED Hogwarts. The type of love that would stay in her heart until her last, gasping breath. From the extravagant ghosts flying around and promising her they were truly the Hufflepuff's best friend ( because everyone wished to be the young White's friend— especially considering her siblings ) to the stretch of golden sky arising from the horizon of mist-glistening trees claiming to be forbidden from the rest of Hogwarts's population of students and teachers. She loved the magic that swarmed every hall; the gasps of shock that left her fellow first years lips when they discovered yet another thing they could do with nothing but their blood and a wand. The years she had spent crying when Aries and Skylar went off to school without her no longer seemed fickle— she had reason to cry if she was missing out on that!
