IT IS TRUE WHAT THEY SAY. The more you care, the more you have to lose. The more you love, the more you are going to hurt. The more you give, the more you feel empty.

Enola knew this was true for Rebekah. Enola knew this was exactly what Rebekah went through. But this is not the end. No one really dies from feeling lost. No one really holds themselves back or stays in the same place forever. It is not in her nature to do so. It is not in her nature to give up so goddamn easily. To let herself die in some corner from sadness. From the brokenness she felt. That is just not her. So here it is; she fell in love, she gave it her all, and somewhere in between she got her heart broken. Somewhere in between something terrible happened. And that is okay. People go. The good ones too soon and the bad usually take a bit longer. The difference between the two is night and day. The good leave you with something special, something beautiful to look back on. The bad ones take the whole goddamn world with them, leaving you in complete misery and chaos. But that doesn't mean that is the end for her. That doesn't mean she has nothing left to offer, nothing left to live for.

It is true what they say. The more you give, the more you feel empty in the end. But that doesn't mean she must stop giving, stop sharing herself with the people who still love her, with the ones who are still here. That doesn't mean that it is over for her, that doesn't mean that she will never find love. No one really dies from feeling lost, from feeling empty, from feeling broken or unappreciated or confused or feeling unloved. It doesn't have to be that way. It doesn't have to end now. It gets easier. Life does. Love does. It all does. It stops for no one. And somewhere in between you learn to love yourself.

"Little monster. To what do I owe the pleasure?" Klaus was grinning when Enola and Stefan stepped out of the shadows.

Bonnie had been invited to Whitmore College by Atticus Shane. Her grandmother used to teach an Occult class at the college and he happened to be the predecessor. She had offered to let Elena and Damon tag along. She knew Elena was having problems adjusting to life as a vampire and knew Damon only wanted to help. She decided this was better than Elena losing control at any given moment though she could do without Damon joining. This left Enola and Stefan back in Mystic Falls to discover the truth from Klaus who currently held Conner Jordan hostage in one of the many rooms in his large mansion. Lucky them.

"We were gonna take him, but figured you went through such trouble to truss him up in your red room of pain." Enola hummed, eyeing the strange torture device that held Conner in place.
