ENOLA WOKE TO A SEARING PAIN. Her head pounded in a rhythmic beat as her body ached. She remembered the accident. There was a man in the middle of the road and she hit him. But he didn't stay down for long. He stalked towards her like a lion on the prowl. If it weren't for Damon she would probably be dead. Damon.

At the realization, Enola slowly peeled her eyes open. The blinding sunlight shone through the passenger window, making the girl grimace as she sat up. Her head was immediately met with a throbbing pain. That was when she realized that she was in a vehicle she did not recognize with no recollection of how she got there. Blinking the blurriness away, she turned her head to the side to find Damon Salvatore driving the vehicle with relaxed shoulders.

"Morning," Damon hummed

"Where are we?" Enola asked slowly, peering through the windshield.

"In Georgia." Damon hummed nonchalantly.

"Oh," Enola blinked, rubbing her temple as she grimaced in pain.

"How are you feeling?" Damon asked softly.

"I—" Enola muttered, unable to explain the amount of discomfort she was in.

"There were no broken bones. I checked." Damon said.

"My car. Damon, my car! There was a man. I hit a man. But then he got up like it was nothing." Enola stated. "Who the hell was that?"

"That's what I would like to know," Damon muttered.

"Where is my phone?" Enola wondered, quickly searching her pockets for her cellular device. "We really need to go back to Mystic Falls now. My car must be totaled. Jenna is going to kill me. Pull over." Unfortunately, her request went ignored. "I mean it, Damon. Pull over. Stop the car."

"Oh, you were so much more fun when you were asleep." Damon rolled his eyes, pulling over on the side of the abandoned road. Enola quickly climbed out of the vehicle, only to be met with an instant dizzy spell. If Damon weren't there to steady her, she definitely would have hit the ground. "Hey."

"I'm fine," Enola reassured, swatting his hands away. "We have to go back."

"Oh, come on. We've already come this far." Damon groaned.

"Why are you doing this, Damon? I cannot be in Georgia. I wrecked my car. I have to go home." Enola ranted, before turning to the vampire with wide eyes. "This is kidnapping. You kidnapped me!"
