We keep on hugging each other for minutes in the midst of the judgment of the people. I could hear nothing but the beating of our hearts.

When I calmed down I slowly let him go. I couldn't look at him properly because of the awkwardness that I felt between us after hugging each other.

Muli akong tumingin sa mga tao at nanatiling mapanghusga parin ang mga tingin nila sa'kin. Wala na akong ibang nararamdaman ngayon kung 'di kahihiyan.

I bowed my head and walk out of this mall. Ramdam ko naman na sumunod siya sa'kin. Nakatulala lang ako habang palabas nang mall.

"You okay now?" He said when we've finally out of the mall. Umiling ako nang hindi nakatingin sa kanya.

I don't want to go home now. Pakiramdam ko ay mas lalo akong ma de-depress sa bahay lalo na't wala naman akong makakausap doon.

"You want me to drive you home?" Kung sa ibang pagkakataon sigurado ay nasigawan ko na siya, but I can't shout at him after what happened inside the mall.

Muli akong umiling sa kanya. "D-do you want to come with me?" Kaagad akong napatingin sa kanya. "I-I just want to recommend my favorite place every time I feel sad. That place makes me feel relax and unwind." He said.

"Hindi sa pinipilit kita. Sinasabi ko lang baka sakaling mawala ang lungkot mo pansamantala." I don't know what's gotten from my mind, I just realize that I slowly nod at him.

I saw how his lips formed a smile. "Just wait for me here. I'll just take my car to the parking area." He said before he left me here.

Ilang segundo akong naghintay sa kanya bago may humintong BMW sa harap ko at lumabas siya doon. Binuksan niya ang pinto at inalalayan akong pumasok doon.

Tahimik lang kaming dalawa habang tinatahak namin ang lugar kung saan niya ako dadalhin. I don't know why I let myself go with this man.

I'm not safe with him especially that he's the one who killed my sister and... his family is my family opponent but why the heck I'm with this man? Kahit ako ay hindi alam ang sagot sa tanong ko.

I just feel like I'm being more comfortable with him without any reason.

Kumunot ang noo ko nang huminto siya sa 7-Eleven. Ngumiti lang siya sa'kin bago lumabas. I wait for him for a minute before he finally gets out of the convenience store.

May dala siyang tatlong paper bag na hindi ko alam kong anong laman. Instead of asking him, I chose to keep my mouth shut because I don't have the right to ask what he likes to buy.

We both silent on his car. Sometimes I could feel in my peripheral vision that he keeps on staring at me every time it had a stoplight. Tumitikhim ako at pilit pinipigilan ang sariling h'wag siyang tingnan pabalik.
