I'm sorry for the long update. I was so busy with my study, so many requirements that need to submit before the due date. But I will try my best to finish this story before the month's end. Thank you for the patience :)

Here's my update for the kabanata 26. Just remind that this chapter is unedited, so expect that you can see a lot of loopholes, grammar, and wrong typos. Enjoy reading this chapter :)

Home...

"Are you okay?" I look at my mom when she approached me as I entered our apartment.

I just gave her a small smile before I nodded at her. "What did you do the whole day, mom?"

"As usual. Clean the whole house at nagdilig ng mga halaman and do whatever I want to do just to killed the time while waiting for you."

We lived here peacefully, far away from our chaotic life before, but the sadness that we felt was never gone."Mom, I have a new project," I said to her.

"That's great, anak. I'm so proud of you because you finally achieve your dreams for yourself and for your sister." Malungkot akong napangiti dahil sa sinabi niya.

"Should I accept the project, mom?" Kunot-noong tiningnan niya ako.

"It's up to you if you'll accept that project, anak. I want you to accept that project because I know it can help you to improve your skills even more."

"But that project will going to do in the Philippines."

"Do you think it's the right time to go home, nak?" Sumikip ang dibdib ko sa sinabi niya.

"M-mom..." I said shivering. I could feel the tears in the corner of my eyes but I tried to control it not to fall.

Hinawakan niya ang kamay at hinaplos iyon. "I know it's hard for you, Hira, pero siguro oras na para harapin natin ang mga problemang iniwan at tinakbuhan natin. Sometimes you need to face them to solve it easily." I bite my lower lip when I felt my tears flowed on my cheeks.

"A-are you ready to come home, mom?" I ask her.

The Villafuertes thrown us anymore like a garbage."
