The new sunrise is a symbol of a new tomorrow. It seems that every sunshine symbolizes good weather. I can't help to compare myself to the sun, I wonder when will I be rise like the sun?
I wish I could see only light because it was tiring to lock myself out of the dark though. I'm tired of being in the dark for years, I used to live in anger and hatred to the person who ruined my family, that I couldn't see my true happiness anymore.
And now I realize that, sobrang nakakapagod din pala. Sobrang nakakapagod 'yong magalit sa taong na minsan ng nagparamdam ng kasiyahan sa buhay ko.
And I wish we hadn't met at the wrong time.
"Every time I see you, you are always burdened with problems." I look at Lyndon as he suddenly speaks up.
For days of being with him, we became more closeness with each other. At siya na din ang madalas kong nakakasama dito sa school. Molly is always busy at minsna nalang din kaming nagkakasama as well as with my other cousins.
"Could you share your problem with me, miss?" Ngumuso ako sa sinabi niya.
"I was just thinking about my sketch. Hindi ko alam kung okay na ba 'to." Kinuha niya sa'kin ang sketch pad at tiningnan iyon.
"It looks great, Hira!" Aniya at binalik sa'kin 'yong sketch pad ko. "Can I choose you to be my architect? I want you to plan my house someday."
"Of course, Lyndon, I gladly accept that, but let's pray first that I could pass the board exam and have a license."
"Of course, you will pass the board exam in Jesus' name, Hira. Matalino ka at magaling kaya hindi imposible iyon."
"Stop praising me that much baka mamaya niyan hindi ako makapag-graduate at baka ma- fail din ako sa board exam." Ngumuso siya at ginulo ang buhok ko kaya tinampal ko ang kamay niya.
"I believe that you will be successful someday." Ngumiti ako sa sinabi niya.
I'm glad he's always there for me, at least I never feel alone anymore.
"If you choose me to be the architect of your house, I want to take my cousin with me to be the interior designer of your house," I said to him.
"You mean Molly?" Tanong niya.
"Yeah, you know her?" Takang tanong ko sa kanya.. Tumango naman siya sa doon.
"Yeah, I quietly know her. She's a Villafuerte, who wouldn't know at her?" Tumango ako sa kanya bago uminom ng ice tea.
