I grip AJ's hand while staring at Monique who was now looking at us. Pabalik-balik ang tingin niya sa'min ni AJ na hanggang ay parang ayaw parin mag sink-in sa utak niya ang mga nakita niya ngayon.
I smiled at her but she just rolled her eyes at me.
"Can you slap me again, Hira? Maybe it was just a dream." Napabuntong-hininga ako sa sinabi niya. Kanina niya pa sinasabi na baka panaginip lang daw ito.
Ilang beses ko na rin siyang sinampal at kung hindi lang ako pinigilan ni AJ ay baka namaga na ang pisngi niya.
" Monique, this is not a dream! "
"I thought you hate him? Why does that turn to love?" She said unbelievably yet amuse.
I shrugged and glance and AJ for a moment. "Well, you know the more you hate the person is the more you love him though." Her lips formed 'o' as if she couldn't believe what I said.
"And you two fell in love because of the hatred towards each other?"
" Your cousin is the only one who hates me." Tumaas ang kilay ni Monique dahil sa sinabi ni AJ habang ako ay napatingin sa kanya.
"And why did you fell at her?" Monique asked AJ.
"Maybe it was because fate always makes a way to crossed our paths. And love suddenly came without your notice, you just realize that you'll slowly fell to the person you didn't expect to happen." Ngumiti ako sa sinabi ni AJ maging si Monique ay napatango at napangiti sa kanya.
"Hope lahat!" Sabay ikot niya ng mata sa amin na para bang inggit na inggit ito. "So...anong plano niyong dalawa? Won't you tell your relationship with your parents?"
"I have no plans to hide it from them. All I care about is Hira, I don't want her parents to be angry with her just because of me." Napapikit ako ng biglang tumili si Monique na parang gaga.
"I also don't have a plan to hide this from them, Monique. It's just that, I still have to gain the courage to tell them about my relationship with AJ. And besides that, kayo palang naman ni Molly ang nakakaalam tungkol sa'min ni AJ."
"Molly know about you two? You're so unfair Hira! Mas nauna pa pala sa'kin si Molly!" Sabay irap niya sa'kin.
"Just because she's the first one who sees us," I said and then sighed. " I hope you'll understand me, Monique. I know it's hard for you to accept us."
"Wala naman akong problema sa relasyon niyo Hira. If you love Mr. Santiago then I will support you and give my blessing to the both of you pero ang inaalala ko lang ay iyong mga magulang niyo. What if hindi nila kayo matatanggap?"
"Then, we will fight our love together. Sabay namin ipaglalaban ang pagmamahalan naming dalawa." Walang takot na sabi ko. Ngumiti siya at tumango sa'kin.
