jaehyun
if only jaehyun could see the future.
maybe he wouldn't have wasted the time that he had these passed months.
life was never on his side. it dragged him down the moment he met taeyong. but it wasn't because of taeyong. it was because he was willing to go against the world for him.
it was love. the love his father despised so much. the love so forbidden that it ripped his family apart.
was it fair? well, did the universe like being fair?
jaehyun leaned against the window sill of his bedroom, overlooking the city one last time before drawing his second cigarette of the night, brushing it against his lips before balancing it.
he continuously lit his lighter, watching the little flame intensively, the only light source in his room apart from the city light shining passed his window.
at last, he lit up the stick, inhaling the toxins that came with it until he could feel the blackness in his lungs as his eyes dropped in response. the rain from outside slowly hit his cheeks, staining his rosy cheeks.
in my dream, coming here was different.
he was foolish to expect the best rather than the worst. he was anything but prepared for his heart to be mercilessly stabbed the way it did.
but what could he do? he couldn't force love on somebody. because eventually, somebody's feelings could just fade like it never happened.
oh but he prayed it was like that with him, but again, when was the universe ever in his favour?
jaehyun continued to fill his lungs with the unpleasant smoke. because he hoped that if he did, he would disappear.
