- seven years later-

'taeyong.' doyoung snapped his fingers to get his best friend's attention.

'hm?' the older replied, blinking as if to return back to earth.

'take a photo of me in this direction. i want to get the view at the back.'

it wasn't easier being a social media influencer's friend, especially if you're their designated unpaid somewhat professional photographer at all times necessary. there was hardly a time where the two went out and doyoung wasn't asking taeyong to take a photos of him. but at the same time, taeyong wasn't complaining as he always got food regardless.

as he was taking snaps, his best friend an underrated model, he couldn't help but notice a man in every single photo, looking almost directly at the camera.

'doyoungie, let's move over just a bit!' taeyong suggested to which doyoung complied, knowing his friend's ability to take the perfect photo.

'there.' taeyong nodded in approval. 'it looks perfect. we had to move because there was some guy behind you looking at the camera.'

'ew, let me see.' doyoung strolled towards his friend as he watching him scroll to through the photos.

'see.' taeyong pointed at the guy on the photo. it was like the guy was confused as to why the photos were being taken, or as if he had never seen somebody taking photos.

but then, as sudden as it was, taeyong decided to continue to examine the guy. that's when the goosebumps trailed all around his body.

the man looked almost too familiar. was his eyes pulling tricks on him? was he really seeing who he thought he was seeing?

could it really be?

'taeyong?' doyoung repeated the older's name once more, hoping that this time, he would finally snap out of whatever world he was in. 'you look like you've seen a ghost.'

taeyong immediately peered up at the direction where the man was, but he saw nobody. at least nobody that looked like...him.

'taeyong, is something wrong?' doyoung's voice grew worried, trying to glance at where his friend was looking.

'no...no, nothing's wrong,' taeyong chuckled in response, realising how foolish he was being. 'i just thought i knew the guy. let's take more around the garden, ok? i think it'll match your feed.'

'you're right!' so young responded, linking his arm with taeyong's. 'how could i live without you?'

don't play mind games, taeyong.

you know he isn't here anymore.
