tw// a lot of drinking

'taeyong!' ten skipped towards his friend, throwing his arms around him as he stumbled into his touch. 'you ok?'

'tired.' taeyong mumbled in ten's shoulder, completely drained as ten rubbed his back.

'ty!' doyoung rushed behind taeyong, who was still attached to ten, and gripped him into a back hug, digging his face into the boy's back.

'can i join in?' yuta spoke, approaching the three attached members and pulling them all into a group hug.

'we're only waiting for johnny,' doyoung finally removed himself from the hug, whipping out his phone. 'then we'll finally go in and dance the night away!'

'did someone say dance the night away?' johnny's voice was heard behind them, to which the others switched around, greeting their older friend.

'how are you? you haven't texted me in a few days?' johnny finally reached taeyong, wrapping one of his arms around the younger's shoulder as the other's entered after them.

'i just haven't been feeling the best.' taeyong responded softly, yet loud enough to be heard over the music.

'well, you could always call me when you aren't feeling ok.' johnny continued. 'i'll be over as soon as i can and do whatever you need for you to feel ok again. you know that.'

taeyong halted at the bar, examining all the various liquor bottles that were set in the shelves at the back, all sorts of colourful and strong liquids.

he signalled a bartender, ordering himself the strongest drink they had, to which johnny furrowed his brows at.

'woah there...you don't even like drinking that much. don't you want to take it a little bit slow?' johnny pulled the boy closer to him.

'look,' taeyong pulled away, creating space between them yet again. 'i appreciate your care so much, you know that. but i can deal with shit myself and handle it.'

the bartender handed him the drink as taeyong pulled out his card, paying for his expensive drink.

'i'm good.' taeyong confirmed, then leaving the older behind, going into the dance floor.

as much as taeyong hated drinking, getting a little loose tonight was the least of his worries.

the music rose in his veins as he began moving his hips, people around him bumping into him and shoving him, but taeyong couldn't care less.

the more chugs he took of his drinks, the more he felt something. whether it was the rising levels of alcohol in his system, or the way the music blared in his ears, draining out everything else and
completely overtaking his sense of reality.

his heartbeat continued to increase dramatically. he was intensely desperate to feel something.

or nothing at all.

he moved towards the bar, asking for another drink, anything stronger than usual.

it was a routine, him dancing the next song, then going back for yet another drink.

when he was in his seventh drink, stumbling across the dance floor to reach the bar yet again, doyoung reached the boy, stepping in front of him with johnny on his side.

'taeyong, you need to slow the hell down.' doyoung warned. 'you're wasted.'

'i'm not~,' taeyong spat out an intoxicated laugh. 'besides, why do you care so much now? you usually don't...about anything! so why start now?'

'excuse me?' doyoung raised his voice, more taken aback than he had ever been seen. 'i don't care about you!? of course i do! what am i doing now?'

'oh come on~!' taeyong continued to laugh. 'all you care is about whether you look good in a picture! your followers concern you more than i ever have! excuse meee~'

'no, what the fuck, taeyong-!'

'doyoung, he's drunk. just leave it alone. i'll handle him.' johnny pulled doyoung from further confronting the drunk male.

'handle me!?' taeyong let out a sarcastic chuckle. that's when yuta and ten approached them, curious about the situation.

'taeyong you are drunk right now. i'm taking you home.' johnny grabbed taeyong's wrist.

'didn't i tell you i can handle shit myself!?' taeyong ripped from his grip agitatedly. 'i don't need you to help me!'

'i'm taking you home, taeyong, don't make this difficult.' johnny once again tried to grab the male once again.

'johnny, fuck off! i don't need you...for anything! you're simply just in my life to satisfy my needs. nothing more!'

as soon as those words left taeyong's lips, johnny drew back, clearly taken aback by the confession. his eyes darken as yuta grabbed the older.

'he didn't mean it. you know that,' yuta tried to say, only for johnny to rip himself from yuta, glaring at the younger male in front of him.

'fuck you.' he cussed right at taeyong. and with that, johnny and doyoung were out the door, the two equally as betrayed.

'taeyong, what the fuck,' ten shook his head in disappointment. 'it's time for you to go home.'

'ten, don't you sta-,'

'taeyong shut the fuck up and leave.' yuta interrupted. 'you've ruined everyone's fucking night. sort your shit out before you contact any of us again, got it?'

taeyong scoffed as the remaining of his friends had left, ten eyeing him in disgust.

'get me another.' taeyong demanded the bartender, who stood still instead.

'actually sir, we aren't supposed to give any more drinks to highly intoxicated peo-,'

'i don't give a fuck! give me another drink!' taeyong shouted, a couple of people switching to his direction at the increase of his voice.

'sir, you need to leave now.' a security guard approached the smaller male.

'what?'

'you're disturbing everyone and you are highly intoxicated. you can no longer be here. you need to leave.'

instead of arguing, taeyong finally gave up, allowing the guard to drag him out and throw him out to the street.

but as soon as his knees hit the ground, so did his realisation and sense of reality.

all the shit he had said, all the expressions and disgust from his friends. everything had suddenly hit like a bullet train.

he...pushed everyone away.

he lost everyone.

taeyong...what have you done?

what the fuck have you done!?
